Easy wipe on finish hat looks great if you apply enough coats
I have tried several wipe on product and methods but I keep coming back to this one. Easiest spread for a nice finish on properly prepared wood and with enough coats applied. The application takes minutes even on some larger surfaces and no drip or bubbles. It does not look like the plastic coating you get with the heavy brush on applications. Even after three to five or six layers it looks as if you oiled the wood and it is not a basketball court floor.

Easy to work with. No brush.
Competitive price for a quality product.

It has a beautiful shine and easy to use.
I was surprised how well it worked. I put down 3 coats.it dries in 3 hours. Be sure to wear gloves. It gets sticky on your hands.

Great finish, easy to use.
Did a great job finishing my maple topped table. Slightly diluted with paint thinner and used a slow but steady 2-stroke application using a thick, 2-inch natural hair brush. Apply over 3 days (giving full day of drying and light 320-bmgrit sanding) The top shines like a new penny.

Great product but needs the regular thick polyurethane to stick
Now this wipe-on polyurethane worked out but only until I applied regular thick based polyurethane did it stick, what I noticed is wiping it with a rag didn’t work, a brush was more effective and until I applied the thick polyurethane did this really start to stick, I obviously wore a mask and gloves and since I couldn’t work outside I did open windows to let fresh air in, and when finished I used Mineral Spirits to clean the brush and obviously allowed it to dry and cure for 2-3 hours according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I would recommend this, but buy regular thick polyurethane so that way it sticks, by itself it just dissolved into the wood and gave it no protection so it needs thick polyurethane otherwise it’s more of an add-on for regular polyurethane. Still recommend this, not sure if buy this again.

No Streaks, looks professionally done!
I never write reviews but this one deserves the best reviews! I have used all kinds of polyurethane, however, this is the best polyurethane ever! It is easy to use and no streaks. I refinished my baby grand piano and it looks professional. Thank you for offering such a product. And by the way, I am no professional. I read a review where someone used a foam brush to apply this polyurethane. I thank that person as well. The best idea ever! I hope you will always have this product! Thank you!

Guitar Mahogany Kidney Table
Mahogany guitar (and table look great). I wiped the first layer on with an old white socks. Waited 3 hours and sanded with 220 sandpaper. This took much of it off. Put a 2nd coat on. Waited 3 hours, sanded with 220 paper and put third layer on. After a while I added a final, heavier layer on just for kicks. This mahogany was very "thirsty" and porous so it soaked up the gloss. Guitar looks great. I ended up with 2/3 of the can left so I dumped some of that onto a mahogany table. I used about another 1/3 of can almost. Table looks super glossy and "wet" like a piano finish. Nice! Guitar tip: use thick coats, I was going slow and building up thin layers (which is fine) but even pouring this out onto a table top won't leave any weird unevenness (no brush marks because it's wipe on). Guitar tip 2: after the guitar is done, take a clean white socks and run it up and down the back of the neck to smooth it out. I've gotten factory made guitars with a sort of sandpaper feel on the neck. You either play it for a few weeks and the palm your hand buffs it smooth, or use the sock trick. I put up before and after pics of the guitar, plus a pic of the table. I did 3 thin layers and 1 heavy layer 9n the guitar. I did 3 super heavy layers on the kidney shaped table. Gloss, 1 pint and I still have a little less than half a can left. I'm so glad I didn't chicken out and spray paint everything black. Store all the rags and sandpaper you use in a glass jar outside because when poly dries on a rag or sandpaper it can't spontaneously burst into flames! Even says so right 0n the can. When I was done I soaked the rags and sandpaper with water and threw them into a trashcan kept away from house and garage until garbage pickup day (it hit 91 degrees here so I was a little nervous the rags would explode-lol). I highly recommend this stuff. Get good rags though. Old black socks leave lint, old white socks, shirts or washclothes don't. Have another rag (that you're going to also throw away for wiping the item down after sanding). I never sanded the table and it is super glossy and even. I sanded the guitar between all coats, but not after the last one. The finish is smooth but sort of semi-gloss because I like it that way and stopped. I probably could have put a final super heavy coat on to get it line the table but I like it how it is now. Wipe on glossy gives so you many options. You can go slow and build up exactly what you want, or dump it on heavy and still get a glossy no-brushmark or spraymark even finish. So relieved these items came out nice.

I've been using this for quite a few years, wonderful finish, just wipe on, dry light sand wipe on again, build about 4 to 5 layers for a really high gloss finish on your woodwork.

I bought this to finish a guitar I'd been building after seeing someone use it on a YouTube video . The only real problem being it's not readily available in the UK . It's also expensive to buy but saying that you will get a lot of coverage from it . I'd stained and rubbed down the guitar body and started wiping it on with some lint free cloth . It didn't take long to dry as it's quite thin . I personally left it longer than recommended on the tin just to let it harden properly . I gave it a rub down with some 1000 wet and dry between coats and ended up putting four coats on . I have to say I'm pleased with the result , especially as it was the first time I'd used it ( I'm not a luthier or involved in woodworking ) . I was probably pleasantly surprised at the result more than anything and I'm already in the process of building another three guitars . I'd recommend this as much for ease of use as the results .

So easy to use, just wipe on with a cloth. Tip: Leave to dry overnight between coats.

This works wonderfully for any DIY wood project. It's easy to apply, dries very quickly, looks great and protects the wood well. It takes a while for the odor to disappear. All in all, a very good product!
