My son loves it
This book is far and away my son’s favorite. We read through it every night and he absolutely adores all of the pictures. He’s 2.5 but he can tell you every single sea creature in the book at this point! It’s informative and well made and I’d suggest it to anyone who is interested in ocean life or who has children who are.

Great book to introduce to marine life
I got this for my friends daughter and she loved it. Great book to introduce marine life to younger kids and good quality.

Beautiful Book!
My 5 year old grandson is into all creatures… great and small! He was all over this book as soon as he opened the box! The photos are gorgeous and the facts given about a wide variety of sea-life are highly engaging. A winner for sure!

Big Disappointment
Huge, huge disappointment in this book. I bought it for my grandson who loves marine life. The book was advertised as ‘minimal wording’ and beautiful pictures. It is not ‘minimal wording’ and to that — much of the printed info has circles and arrows that cover the photos. There were very few really good photos — but the rest were small partial photos. My 2 1/2 year old grandson is learning all the different ‘sea creatures’ names by sight, but so many photos were a disappointment. He knows what an octopus is, but the octopus photos in the book were unrecognizable. I also expected to see several pages of pictures of the different species of whales and sharks. He knows several by sight, but again, the photos were lacking. No Mako’s, Black Tip’s, Great White’s. No Blue Whales. Probably the best photo in the whole book was the ‘Sea Turtle’—a good quality shot!I usually use the ‘see inside the book’ before you buy choice, but this book didn’t show that option. So I bought it based on the reviews.Yes, it’s a nice large, colorful hardback book. Good for a coffee table, and heavily advertised to Alzheimer patients. The written info is good, but I was looking for a book with better photos of marine creatures. This really didn’t quite fit the description.
