Great quality on the stamp, easy to use
Great quality, this is the first time I ever use wax to seal, and to be honest it’s great. Also the logo on the stamp looks pretty good!

"Rose Wax Seal Kit" great buy!!
Came very quickly and as pictured here. My only complaint is that the wax is hard to break into pieces. I really like the melting spoon. The colors are vibrant, had no issue with them. The seal was nice as well. Everyone liked them. Please be advised: the spoon will turn black from the flame(but the black rubs off). The symbols on the wax sticks indicate where to break them to make an efficient sized seal on the envelope. You must heat the spoon a little to get the previous color out when changing colors. A very nice product and something cool for us history buffs and fantasy lovers(I am both) ^___^

Everything you need to get started for a good price, and neatly presented
This is my first try at sealing wax, and I think this kit made an excellent introduction. It's pretty straightforward--cut off a small chunk of wax (about the size of the lilies cast into the stick), place it into the spoon, melt the wax over the candle, pour it out, and stamp it--but it does seem to be one of those activities where it takes some time to get really good at it. Getting the stamp centered so you get an even edge around the design is definitely something to work on.As for this kit: it comes very nicely presented in a little book-shaped box tied with ribbon. Everything fits neatly inside and looks very attractive. I opted for this kit partially because the included wax does not have wicks, as I read that the wicks can burn the wax and leave unsightly black marks in your seal, but the tradeoff is that the wax sticks are fairly difficult to cut. I went at it with a kitchen knife for quite a while before I gave up, put it in a vise, and cut off a bit with a little crafting saw in about five seconds. My guess is that you could just as easily melt the end of the stick with a lighter, but I like the ritual and precision of using the spoon.Note: the wax included is not the traditional breaking or bankers' wax that you snap open, but a very tough, gluey, flexible material. This stuff can be mailed, unlike traditional wax, which would gum up modern postal machines, but you'll have to cut the seal to get through it, or tear the paper it's on, as it sticks hard to whatever you pour it on (except baking paper, which I practice on; this allows you to just pick up the seal, re-melt it, and try again).

Makes for a great little
This wax set is simple and to the point, and makes for a beautiful gift! However, I feel like I should bring up two things (I wouldn’t even call them issues, just some tips). One, the spoon to heat the wax is thin, so it may bend but it’s easy to bend back into shape. It also turns black when heated but the spot wipes right off, this is normal. Two, it has no instructions so if you are gifting it maybe tell the person to cut the wax about where each design ends, that gives you approximately the right amount for a good sized seal. It’s not overly posh, but definitely a cute idea (love that it looks like a book when not in use, too!).

The Product That Got Me Into Making Personalized Letters
I had never used a wax stamp before. I decided to try it out & see how I liked the process. The answer.. it is so much fun! It made me ask why doesn't everyone stamp his or her letters with this? When I ordered the product I decided to write a card to my family and friends, just to say hi; you wouldn't believe how amazed they were by the stamp. They even asked me how to do it themselves. This is an old tradition that should have never died. The only thing about the kit that I don't like is there were no instructions, but it was not a problem at all. I just looked up a quick YouTube tutorial.Worth it: YesSatisfied: AbsolutelyWould Buy Again: I would definitely buy this as a gift.If you like mailing letters & putting an old-fashioned twist to it, this is the product for you.
