Edit: After sitting down for a good read, I love this books so much! It will get begining embroiderers excited to start and experienced ones ideas for new projects. The pages are absolutely gorgeous. You can tell how much love and hard work went into each page. I would amend that it is not just geared toward new stitchers, but does set a firm foundation for beginners. So excited to get to work. This book has some great patterns and little doodads. This is definitely geared toward beginning stitchers, but the patterns are super cute!

This book is STUNNING! I am so glad that I bought it. I started my stitching journey a few months ago and learned everything through trial & error and YouTube videos. I wish I had a clear, concise and informational book like this one! There are still things for me to learn, and I’m excited to dive into this book and learn new stitches, designs and how to stitch on clothing! Whether you’re new or already into embroidery, this book is a must have.

This book is absolutely beautiful! Not only the patterns are GORGEOUS and well explained but the design and quality of the book are incredible as well. You can really appreciate how much love and work were put into it. The stitch guide is very clear and it includes several different stitches. It also includes many small hoop-less patterns that look fun and beautiful to create. I can not wait to start stitching these patterns and decorate my walls with them!

Loved this book! It was easy to use, and as a beginner with a history of sewing, I can catch into it fast. There are definitely some simpler patterns, and then some that are more complex, or challenge your ability to make stitches evenly across a whole piece. Only a 4/7 because some of the patterns are missing a floss color, or don’t mention you’ll need three skeins of a certain color, so be aware when you’re working through a pattern.

I’m in love with this book! It’s gorgeous, high quality, and an amazing value (so many patterns!). I have a couple other embroidery art books and I really like a few patterns from each, but probably won’t make most of the projects in them. Not so with this one! I love every single pattern in this book - I’m so excited to make these pieces for myself and friends! It’s also worth noting that other embroidery books I’ve found seem to be geared toward beginners, but this one is great for beginners and novice embroiders alike. So glad I got it!

I'm a new embroiderer and this purchase was my first pattern book. I've been enjoying it already made a few as gifts and currently working on one for myself. I work for a craft and hobby publishing company, so I will say I hoped some designs had more photos in the step-by-step instructions, or at least more than 1 close-up. Some of the directions are misleading and vague, and I noticed what's being instructed isn't what's actually shown. For example, I'm currently working on an abstract design that calls for "brick-like backstitches," but the stitch in the design looks completely different, almost like chain stitches, but not? I still can't tell what it is or how it's done, but it's definitely not a backstitch like the directions say. Either way, I'm still having fun with it and making my own personal twists that are different from the designs, but there could be a bit more clear direction.

This book is amazing!!! It has incredibly well written instructions and is perfect for a novice or an advanced stitcher. The patterns in the book are beautiful and offer a variety of different projects to try including stitching on hoop, cushions, clothes, shoes and more! I am thrilled to add this book to my collection.

When I left for the dentist today I was spoiled with this glorious book!! Flicking through it on the bus and in the waiting room has been the highlight of my day!! I’ve purchased a couple of Libby’s pattern and loved everything she’s created and this book is no different, with heaps of tips and explanations and a couple of spectacular patterns! Would definitely recommend this book for all levels of embroidery skill!
