So nice we bought twice
Highly customizable, can be as complicated or as simple as the user pleases. I love how it can heat up my bed in less than 5 minutes during the winter, the heat gets trapped under the covers and stays warm through the night, it’s somehow better than any electric blanket I’ve ever used. In the summer months the cooling fan is perfect, I live in a desert climate and it can be sometimes 120 degrees at night, air conditioning is great but this thing keeps the bed dry and cool with low noise and without wasting so much electricity. I’m very impressed by the standalone remote and the app capabilities with any smartphone. I’ve had this for about 2 years now and just purchased another as a gift, this is pricey but honestly once you have one you’ll never let go of it. The design is smart and it’s engineered well. We didn’t buy the special sheets or duvet and it works fine, when my partner wants it cooler and I’m already cold we just adjust the position of the output at the foot of our bed or we make a barrier with a comforter to divert the air to only one side.

Works A-mazing!!
This is a "Where has this been all my life type product". It seemed a bit gimmicky and yet for the high price tag, since on sale I gave it a chance. I would by again and again that's how much I love and need this product in my life. Let me break down the review. Sheet Sold Separate: I highly recommend this!! I almost didn't get it, but so glad I did. Trust me when I say it is soft yet durable like hotel sheets. It is similar to a duvet. There are button openings and that is what you unsnap to put the Bed Jet nozzle in. You can even use two Bed Jets in certain sizes so both partners can adjust their own settings. Under the sheet is little stitched valves that let the cool or warm air through, the material itself gets drastically cooler/warmer depending on the setting you use. How it works: The BedJet uses the air from the room so the cooler your room, the colder the air being blown. It has three auto-programmed modes you can set either warm or cool to your liking and the percentage of airflow. This has come in handy when half asleep, Let's say I have mode one is 75% when I feel warm and then wake up chilled, I have mode 2 set to 15% which still keeps me cool but no longer chilled. The pre-programmed button makes it easy to hit while half asleep. The remote lights up with the slightest movement, so you can easily see it at night. Timer: You can pre-program the timer for auto-shut off. I haven't really done this, the preset is 9hrs and I usually just shut off when I wake up in the morning. Noise: You will hear it. It sounds like a white noise machine. Some people like this sound but for me it can be somewhat disruptive with sleep on the higher settings. If I am incredibly hot, I can usually tune it out just until I cool down. Hot Flashes: This is why I got the BedJet. It has helped me get through insanely rough nights of waking up 3 times an hour due to hot flashes. This is worth it ladies!! Sensory: Overstimulation and chills from an overhead fan but sleep in a poorly insulated room that becomes hot during the summer or cold during winter? Maybe you always have to sleep with sheets, even in a warm room. This helps with all of that. The consistent flow of air evenly distributes and makes the sheets feel cool. If you have the BedJet sheet, it will come out of the hole/valves and significantly cool your body in a way an overhead fan cannot do. Same with the warm air, which can greatly reduce the need for heated plug-in blankets. (I have gone through my fair share of those) Raynaud's sufferers- This fan blows both cool and warm air depending on setting, I only feel safe using the warm setting awake although you can program it to auto shut off. The cool air can get quite cool depending on your room. I recommend the pre-set to a low percent until you know best what works for you. Even at 25% my toes have been quite chilled, and I had to turn completely off when half asleep or lower it to 10% or turn it off completely. Other Use: Pop it out from under the sheets and it becomes a cool stream of air you can point at your bed of towards wherever you are sitting, same with warm air in the winter. My cat especially loves this during the day when she is taking over my bed and I'm not using it. Overall, I would give this fan and the separately sold sheet over 5 stars if I could. It has helped me get better sleep with less frequency of waking up. Everything from the remote lighting up, the programmable pre-sets which make it easy to select at night. Constant nightly and at time daily use for months and it is still working great! This reminds me of the patient-controlled tubing they put into your hospital sheet/gown before surgery to make you comfortable. This is definitely a must have, Highly Recommend!

5stars I LOVE THIS THING.
I wanted to wait to write this review until I had really used it for awhile so I could give an honest review. I am always hot. I sleep with two fans, ceiling fan and the ac on and I’m still hot all the time. I knew this was an iffy purchase by reading reviews but I was so hot! I love this thing. No it’s not like an ac where it will go down to 50 degrees (that would be lovely though) mine hovers around 66-70. That is plenty for me. I sleep under a comforter and top sheet and it really helps keep the cold air in. I did not buy the sheet I use it with my regular bedding. I also removed the spout thingy from it. It’s expensive, incredibly expensive but for me it is worth the money. I asleep better when I’m cold and there are nights I have to turn it off I get so cold! And that is saying something I live in Texas. Nothing is ever cold here. Quality seems good, I know people complained about the remote but I haven’t had any issues with mine and I love that it lights up so I don’t have to put my glasses on in the middle of the night. Fit wise it is just me in my king size bed so I have the tube on the other side (My feet still get cold!) so it is pointing at my waist. I’d say if there were two of you I’d install it at the feet. I have not used the heat side because again; I live in Texas and I’m almost positive that’s right next to the sun. I will update my review if I ever use it. update 2025 October I used the heat. I woke up freezing this morning and after trying to get warm for an hour I remembered that this had heat. Let me tell you- heavenly, amazing, pointed it at my knees and feet and it made my arthritis feel better and my feet were no longer popsicles. I doubt I will use it much but this morning it was a lifesaver. If I ever decided to run away to a cabin in the woods- I am taking this with me.

Works great! Would recommend to any hot sleeper.
Losing 1 star just because I think the price point for the tech is a touch steep. As for pros, it does what it's supposed to! The option to heat or cool your bed pretty instantaneously and or continuously is immensely helpful for night sweats or a quick heat up on cold snowy winter nights. We have had ours for many months now and it always works great without error. We really like the ability to control the 'fan speed ' and the ability to control from a remote so you don't have to remember to turn on or adjust before you actually are in bed. A nice luxury for some and for those suffering from chronic night sweats....get it, it's worth the better restful sleep 10 tens over.

Holy Sleep, Batman!
I have a health condition that plagues me with night sweats. Often times I needed to move to the downstairs couch to finish my night's rest because my sheets were WET with sweat. Not damp. Not swampy. Literal "did I pee myself?" puddles. Truly, I was sleeping with 3 separate, high velocity fans pointed at me from 6-12 inch ranges. It was like sleeping in a wind tunnel. Put a windmill in there and I could've provided ground wheat for the entirety of the Eastern seaboard. My poor husband had to jump ship most of the time, because it's hard to sleep on the set of Twister. And yet, with all that wind power, I would still wake up drenched. I ordered the cloud sheet and bed jet at the same time. The bed jet arrived 2 days earlier (the sheets were delayed). Since it had arrived and I was desperate, I decided to go ahead and try it with my own sheets (which technically are jersey, but I also have a duvet). Holy crap, Batman. It's perfection. It's peace in a little white box with a hose. For 5 nights now I have slept through the night (expect for getting up to pee) and I haven't woken up in a puddle of sweat once. I wake up feeling actually rested! My energy during the day has increased, my mental clarity has increased, hell, I've even lost weight. And I can now sleep next to my husband again! In addition to being a normal human who doesn't prefer to sleep in a howling tunnel of wind, he also radiates the heat of a small volcano. We slept in separate beds most nights, especially when I was having problems with sweat. Now he can sleep in the same bed! I don't feel like I'm about to be in "Pompeii: Act 2" and he doesn't feel like he's about to be flung headlong into Oz. I have one little fan left, because I like to have air on my face. The fan head is about the size of my hand. It and the bed jet are about the same volume. Which is to say, if you can stand a small, personal sized fan, you can definitely do a bed jet. I find it to be a very pleasant, low white noise. I will say, I didn't love the cloud sheet. It poofs up with air and provides a cooling/warming environment, but I preferred the direct stream of air on my legs/body with my own sheets/duvet. But that's truly personal preference. I like the sensation of wind and putting it kind of around my shin area has been the best. All this to say, I waited months to buy this. Don't be like me, get it today. It's a major life upgrade.

Horrible Product and Even Worse "Support"
So unhappy. I bought my BedJet a couple of years ago for my child. Long story short he never unboxed it or used it. When I realized he wasn't using it, I decided to use it myself. It worked for a very short period of time, and the cooling function did help some with my night sweats. Then the BedJet stopped pairing. I called their Rhode Island support number (not even toll free?? Really?). The first guy I talked to was ridiculously unhelpful. Didn't try to walk me through trouble-shooting steps or anything. Just said it "sounds like" the radio signal stopped working and "there's nothing we can do about that". When I said I was looking for solutions, he actually said "I really don't know what you want us to do for you?". I called back and got a different rep. This one at least attempted some trouble shooting (Had me turn off the BedJet, wait, and plug it back in. Tried plugging directly into wall outlet versus the power strip)......BUT ultimately came to the same conclusion that the radio signal is no longer working to pair the device. And then he said they could either repair it for $200 or offer me a discount on a new device. Needless to say I declined both offers. HORRIBLE PRODUCT with HORRIBLE "SUPPORT". I would NOT recommend a BedJet to anyone, unless you like wasting your money.

Early review a few days in, LOVE IT!
TLDR: It's awesome, buy one. I got it on sale ($389) but totally worth full price. I am a warm sleeper, not terrible, no sweats or anything like that but lots of tossing and turning and going in and out of the blanket throughout the night. I don't have a single complaint about it even some of the things I thought were surely going to be an issue. Details: Hefty price tag for something that's supposed to do what dozens of products I've already tried are supposed to do (and do not)... cool sleep. Seen this awhile ago and it seemed gimmicky, but the concept seemed pretty solid, still, in my eyes not enough to outweigh the risk of that big price tag. I think it was on one of the prime days it was on sale for $389 so I figured it was time to look into some reviews and surely enough all of the realistic sounding reviews I had read made it seem wonderful so I gave it a try. It is wonderful indeed. Note, I did get one of the dual zone sheets, my girl likes it warmer in bed than I do and I didn't wanna freeze her out (I am getting her one now though so she can do her own thing). I had 2 major concerns about this: 1) Pets, I was worried the cats would ruin the sheet, my cat went on a rampage attacking it while I was setting it up and did no damage. 2) This was my bigger concern: The sheet being locked in place where the machine meets the sheet. I do not like feeling 'strapped down' by my sheets or blankets, like crawling under a sheet that is still tucked under the bed, you can't move much. This turned out to be a non issue, the sheet is big enough that it leaves plenty of wiggle room and in no way causes discomfort, or irritation from not being able to move that one part of the sheet where the machine connects. I expected to be using this on the coldest setting since I sleep so hot at nights, but it turns out I end up lightly using the heating feature (around 78 degrees) almost exclusively unless I am really hot at the moment. The temp under the sheet stays consistent and it's amazing. It also feeds fresh air under the blanket which makes it nice for actually sleeping under the sheet, which would normally get hot and stuffy very quickly and hard to breathe. I've only been running it for 5 days now and I am definitely getting better sleep but I've still found myself tossing and turning some but 100% unrelated to heat issues now... I think my body is used to tossing and turning at this point and I think after a few more days I'll be getting much better sleep. Took about a little more than 5 minutes to setup. Under the bed, it's very quiet, low level white-noise, which I actually enjoy. The remote is intuitive and pleasant to use. If you're considering it, I'd go for it. Incredible deal at the price I paid on sale. The BedJet website currently also has "remanufactured" ones for $300, I just ordered one of those for my girls side of the bed minutes ago which made me think to review my amazon purchase.

Better then sleep number dual temp pad for me and half the price
I was thinking about getting the sleep number dual temp pad, but the one in the store was not working so I could not try it. But I am skeptical of it, being on top of the bed and taken away from some of the comfort of the bed. I have two beds. One is in a townhouse, which is a sleep number bed that never got moved to my single family home. The sleep number bed by far is better than the foam bed and the foam that I put on the current bed works well, but reflects heat. Another thing to consider is the sleep number dual temp pad is twice the price. So today after using my bed yet for about two weeks, I was in the mall and able to test the dual temp pad, which finally got fixed. It feels like it works and it might even distribute the air in theory a little bit better. However, it’s not nearly as strong as the bed jet. The bed jet I didn’t buy the special sheet for it. I just stuck it underneath the fitted sheet and then I throw my own sheet over top of the edge to make sure it catches all the air coming through. Sometimes my sheet pops up and kind of floats, some people might not like that, but it doesn’t bother me at all What I like is it is pulling the heat away and I’m really surprised to say that even on the other side of my body with the air moving around it seems to suck the heat away I’m no longer noticing that trap heat feeling. And what is also nice is even if you don’t put heat on, you can still warm it up a little bit more on the cooling- example: I tend to run my room which is on the top floor and has a window AC to augment frosty cold down to about 66 But I can set this to blow 74 or 75 under the sheets on the cool setting. This is about perfect for me except occasionally if I’m running hotter, I’ll run it the temperature down. I also sometimes hit the heat on when I first get in and then it almost immediately turn it off, just to kinda get settled in the bed. I have an iPad that is on an arm that I can pull and push away from my bed and I can run the bed jet that way or use the remote. It’s great it has changed my feeling about the bed a lot. Depending on how thick your thread count is on your fitted sheet, you may get a different result. Or you may just want to go ahead and get the cloud sheet. What I also find nice as I don’t have to worry about that cloud pad from sleep number going bad if you have pets and they pee on it they’re kind of a little bit out of luck. At least with this it’s just blowing under the sheet and what I like is because it’s not attached to a pad, You can move it up or down the bed regardless of what they suggest. With the sleep number thing it fits only on the side in one position and you can’t change it. With the bedjet you can choose also to put it at your feet if you prefer. The remote and the app for me both work really well. Short answer is if you’re not sure just go ahead and get it and give it a try and if you don’t like it, you can return it.
