My favorite cheese straws
John W. Macy makes my fave cheese straws. I’ve tried many brands but these are so tasty with a tiny bit of cayenne. Delicious

Very disappointed
These arrived stale and in pieces. I was really looking forward to getting these because I bought a box while on vacation and they were terrific, but no way of buying them locally. When I saw these online, I was ecstatic. Very disappointed.

Not what I thought they were but good
They’re good but the ones I ordered along time ago must have been different brand. They were softer. And really cheesy.

Move Over, Hollywood — Macy’s Real Masterpiece Comes in a Bag
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ John Wm. Macy has really outdone himself this time Look, I’ve been a fan of Macy for years. Fargo? Brilliant. Shameless? The man carried that show on his back for ELEVEN seasons. So when I saw his name on a box of cheesesticks at the store, I thought, sure, I’ll support Macy’s side hustle. Good for him, branching out. And I have to say — these cheesesticks are better than he is at acting, and I mean that as the highest possible compliment, because John Wm. Macy is a tremendous actor. Like, what does that even mean for a cheesestick? It means they’re extraordinary. It means I stood over the kitchen counter at 11pm eating them directly from the bag making sounds that would concern my neighbors. The crunch. THE CRUNCH. Did Macy perfect this in a studio somewhere? Is there a Stanislavski method for baking? I have questions. My only complaint is that the bag is not bigger. John, if you’re reading this — and I assume you are, you seem like a guy who reads his Amazon reviews — please make a larger bag. Maybe a Fargo commemorative tin. I would buy that immediately. Five stars. Better than Shameless Season 9 (still love you though, Macy).

Taste great but doesn't ship well
These cheesey bread sticks are absolutely delish, and would rate that with 5 stars, however all three boxes contained nothing but broken pieces. They still taste terrific, but the presentation is WAY off.

Not packaged well!
I’ve purchased this item in grocery stores for years, not sure why it’s no longer available there anymore? However, when I found it here I was excited. This is a staple for our happy hour parties. Now the bad part, the item came broken up within the packaging. (The internal cushioning was inadequate). While I will be able to cobble together enough sticks, that were not broken amongst the three boxes to serve at one happy hour, the rest are just in pieces. I’ll eat them myself, but they aren’t appropriate for presentation on a tray. Additionally, this is October 26th and I received them today yet the expiration date is November 2023. So they are not exactly in peak quality and freshness. Palatable, but not as tasty as they should be.
