Worth the money
I was concerned about the high cost of this unit but it’s performance is faultless. Very strong signal constantly. The App interface is poor for a layman but I got through it and have not had to reset or reboot in since I installed about 3 months ago. Very pleased with it

Works perfect
It needed a firmware update on both this and my existing devices for the mesh network to work. But once set it it works perfectly

Good but overpriced for what it is
This Draytek product is, like all Draytek products, well engineered and reliable. It also inter-operates well with other Draytek equipment being manageable as part of a large installation from one of Draytek's routers. However it is overpriced for what it is - by comparison the Netgear WAX214 is a WiFi6 ceiling-mounted access point with WPA3 security and it is only just over £100. I don't know how Draytek can expect people to pay 50% more for a product with a lesser specification, but I assume they simply aren't interested in selling volumes of their product and are happy to only sell to people who want to stay within the Draytek world.Just to be clear, I am not criticising the product itself which is fine as long as you are happy with its outdated specification. But I do feel that bearing in mind the limitations of the product it should really be at least priced comparably with other competent but higher-specced products like the Netgear WAX214.

Small Compact Discrete
Ive just installed four of these in a small boutique hotel. They are the replacement for the AP910, which ive had experience with. The great thing about these is the fact you can mesh them together. Really easy setup once you have told the system which one is the master. It then finds the rest. I already use Draytek for routing and switching as i can manage everything together, so adding these in means i can see everything in one place and i can even access it from my office if theres a problem. Which is great news given we cant travel at present. Ive marked down the interface at a four because there is a lot you can adjust and i got a bit lost. Not a failing of the admin panel its just my expertise only goes so far. One thing to note about the Draytek offerings. They are not consumer products, you are not going to see them in retail shops and as such they are technically solid and the performance is super quick.
