Midori 11796006 Notepad WM Ring Memo Grain Black

I have bought this notebook three times. If you love great pens, you will love the feeling of writing on Midori paper. (You will love writng on it with any pen or pencil.)

I love the format of a reporters notebook as a carry all the time / capture tool. Previously I used the Moleskine reporters notebook which is a good form factor but garbage for fountain pen Ink. Midori does great paper which doesn't bleed through and just feels good in the hand. The paper isn't wafer thin, it's robust and having rings means it's easier to write on as it lies flat. I am very impressed and happy I got this, it's a great pocket notebook.

I use Pilot fountain pens with medium nibs and Iroshizuku ink. There is no bleed through or feathering. Excellent quality. Buy with confidence.

Love these brand of notebooks. They work well and have a very professional look. The texture is also really nice.

Excellent paper and design. Only problem is the backing could be a bit thicker. But other than that, by far this is the best small notebook I've ever found. The paper is very smooth and high quality and fountain pen ink does not bleed through! That alone shows an unusually high quality paper. The copper spiral binding is close to perfect (it does bend slightly in my pocket) -- the paper does not accidentally tear out! My only criticisms are that the backing could be a little thicker. Also, I don't believe that the cover is real "leather, " Although it does "look" like leather -- the inside of it exposes it to be faux-leather. But these are minor things. This is the best small notebook I've ever possessed. Very excellent paper! I've just purchased my second one.

Great pocket notepad that has the same dimensions as Write in the Rain but with a little more girth.

This notepad is the perfect size and is super high quality. I love the layout of the pages with four sections of lines. I haven't tried to use the blank pages yet. The cover is great as is the band to hold it together. The pages are great to write on. I will definitely purchase this notepad again.

I really like these little notepads. They have great paper, as is typically with Midori products. The cover is very nice as well. This isn't a replacement for your Dollar store throw away notepad as the title says this is intended for permanent notes. The paper works well with any ink I've tried except "juicy" markers and for those that use them the paper is toothy enough for pencil use as well. Granted they cost more than most notepads that are commonly available but use one for your permanent notes and I doubt you'll want to use anything else for your important notes and drawings.
