Locator Genuine Original Replacement Male Inserts Caps Standard Extra Strong, Purple 8.0 lbs (4-Pack)

My dentist put purple inserts in on January 9, and they were still holding strong when I replaced them with these on April 12. In all likelihood, the ones my dentist put in would have been good for six months, but when I got the new inserts and the Locator tool, I had to try them out. Everything is working as advertised. After watching videos on You Tube, I was surprised at how small the Insertion tool is. Overall I am happy with my purchase. As someone else said in another review, be sure to buy the Locator branded inserts. Just to be on the safe side. Some mentioned that the inserts they ordered were too big, or otherwise didn't fit. Some advice. Ask your dentist to give you the info, so you can order the right ones. Mine did, knowing I would change them myself. Money saved from doing it yourself will literally save you a bundle of money replacing these.

First, let me preface it by saying I was getting pretty tired paying my dentist $265 every 3 to 4 months to have these little rings replaced. Last time I was in there the hygienist told me that I could change these myself. She gave me the envelope the rings came in, which had everything I needed to order them myself, she even showed me how to remove the old ones and insert the new ones! She also told me to watch a YouTube if I forget. This was the easiest thing I ever did. Total cost of these rings are in the vicinity of $53. They came in a package of four, I needed to for my removal implants, gives me two left over for the next time. Stop paying for your dentist summer home!!! You won't be sorry you did these yourself!

Holds EXCELLENT!! Anyone on here that says they don’t, or don’t work, are morons and bought the wrong ones for their dentures. Pay attention to which you need! These purple caps are the strongest holding ones they make at the moment and hold extremely well. You also need to buy the Locator Tool for $90 to properly & easily put them in & take them out with! There’s one or two other Locator Tools that are for different caps/implants. Once again, be aware of what kind of ends are at the top of your implants! One of the pictures they supply in the listings has a really great example of all 4 of the different kinds of implants & caps. Btw, I was informed by the manufacturer that these purple caps are made of new and stronger materials than the others; that’s why they cost slightly more. $35 instead of $30 for the 4-pk. After I received my 4-pk, I contacted the manufacturer & asked why they don’t have the 20-pk of the purple ones for a discount like they do the rest of the colors. He explained about the materials I mentioned above and sent me a private link for a discounted 20-pk! They were extremely responsive & very friendly. Our dentist charges $750 every six months to change out these inserts. By buying the tool, and these inserts, we have saved thousands of dollars a year.

Have bought for a year for Snap in dentures. Have alot of movement and these are secure for couple of months suddenly no longer available in this tension strength not sure what I will do now

I read that the purples are now made of a different material. I am losing retention after only a few days. I have been putting these in myself for years now I dont know what is wrong. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have been doing the locator changes myself for several years. Once you buy the tool you no longer need the lab to change them for you. These are the exact same locators they use and it’s really easy to do.
