Herpecin L Lip Protectant SPF 30 0.10 oz (Pack of 6)

When I lived at the beach and was out in the sun all the time I always forgot to keep my lips protected. One time my lips got sunburnt and then these little blisters appeared, which were so extremely painful. I went to my local pharmacy and asked if there was any thing over-the-counter I could get that would help alleviate the pain. This is the only product that has ever worked for me. I know, sometimes if I’m super stressed out, I can feel a little bump forming on my lip and all I do is use this lip balm very religiously, and the bump never becomes a full-blown blister. Plus, I use this balm as my lip protectant all the time. It goes on smooth and it’s really the only thing that ever keeps my lips hydrated and feeling good. I keep one in my purse on my office desk and one by my nightstand. This is by far the best lip balm and sunscreen protectant you’ll ever find.

At first I thought this was way overpriced but then I realized that it was for 6 tubes. That makes it less at Amazon than anywhere else I could find. I think that this makes my cold sores hurt less and heal faster than even abreva does, and if I use it as sunscreen when I am going to be in the sun I get fewer cold sores.

this is great if you're not a mouth breather, no diss to mouth breathers, and want to avoid colds and cold sores. because I keep my mouth shut most of the time. - making my nose, ears, and eyes routes for another's illness to root in me. I put this under my nose and just inside & around the internal acoustic meatus when I feel it's necessary. a good pre-emptive measure. IMO

I used to get Herpicin at Walmart. they quit carrying it sometime ago. I was very happy to find it here and it is the true product and at a good price.
