Amzer Pudding Soft Gel TPU Skin Fit Case for HTC Desire 816 - Retail Packaging - Black

I was a bit suspicious of buying this case at first, as there is only one photo of it on the product page, but considering the price of the case (about 8 USD at the time of this writing), I figured it was worth the risk.The case has a matte back (as you can see in the product photo), as well as matte finish on the inside of the case where the back of your phone rests. The matte finish on the outside of the case keeps your phone from slipping out of your hand quite as easily, and the matte finish on the inside of the case provides some grip on the backplate of the phone, preventing it from sliding around and popping out of the case. The sides of the case are smooth and glossy (you can see a bit of it in the product photo), which I found to be helpful so the phone does not have too much friction when putting it/out of my pocket. The case feels good in my hand, and the power and volume buttons on the phone function perfectly inside the case.Having already dropped my phone a couple times since using this case (from about 3-4ft on tile), I can say I am comfortable with the level of protection it provides without being too bulky. I wouldn't expect miracles from this, but I think it would protect the phone fairly well from most minor cosmetic type damage. I haven't exactly done extensive testing on that, so use your best judgement when throwing your phone around.One concern I have with this product is that the case feels very slightly looser than similar type cases I have had for previous phones. It isn't enough to be afraid that the case will come off the phone, but it does make the areas around the cutouts for port access (in particular near the micro usb port on the bottom of the phone) move around a bit when touched.The only other negative (and the reason I am removing one star) is that there is a small amount of molding flash that wasn't trimmed down all the way during manufacturing on the opening around the screen and on the outside edge of the case. It is only ~0.2mm or so in spots, but it is enough that I notice it. I will easily be able to trim it down, so I guess it isn't a big deal, but a higher quality product would not have these kinds of flaws.Final word: I can in good conscience recommend this case as it has met my expectations, especially for such a reasonable price.

Just got this case for my HTC Desire 816. Glossy black border with matte black back. It fits perfectly and is really easy to put on and remove. Mine has a minor cosmetic flaw though. The logo at the bottom is slightly tilted and off center (hard to see in the picture, tried my best). It doesn't affect the properties of the case at all, so it's ok. I took a star off because of that and also because it doesn't have protective covers for the holes on the phone. I had an Otterbox case on my old HTC Desire Bravo and it had protective grommets for the 3.5mm earphone plug and the micro-usb plug as well. Obviously this is not as higher end as Otterbox so I understand. For the price (just under $8 when I bought it), it fulfills its duty very well.

I bought this in 2014 when I bought my phone. Since the phone itself is big, a "phablet", I wanted something that would offer protection but not add bulk. There are limited case options for my phone, unfortunately. It is the only case I've had on my phone and it has been great. There has been no stretching, which is something that worried me. I have a toddler that often takes off with my phone, so it's been dropped, stepped on, drooled on (case is not and doesn't claim to be waterproof), and chewed on. It still looks as good as the day I bought it. I'm very impressed with the case and I would buy again!

Love the case, It fits around the HTC desire perfectly and makes the phone look very nice. I would recommend this case to all HTC desire owners as it is pretty sturdy and protects the phone well. The only complaint that I have is, it is pretty hard to press the volume button and power buttons when you have the case on, you have to use a bit of force to do so.Other than that this is a fantastic case

Fits my phone perfectly and is very snug and secure. The case doesn't add a lot of bulk to what is already a pretty big phone which is great. Case makes the screen lock and volume buttons a little tricky to use but you get used to it. That's pretty much my only complaint. I like the feel of the material and as far as others complaints that the case doesn't offer enough grip, I prefer the smoother feel of the case because it slides in and out of my pocket a whole lot easier than a very rubbery material. I would recommend this case to anyone.

It's a good case and have no reason to say otherwise, just not my favorite, so one star. Plus I have not used this one yet. No cutouts for side buttons, but they are still usable. Thick material. Kind of a matte/textured back.

I literally went to every mall close to me to try and find a case for my HTC Desire 816 hoping there would be a slight chance that I'd find one. I had no luck. So this was my last resort. I try to avoid ordering stuff online if I can find it somewhere in a store just because I'm impatient and hate waiting for shipments. I received my case 3 days ahead of the expected date surprisingly and I'm very happy with it. Feels nice and has a good grip.

I have been using this now for 4 weeks. I can‘ t really say its amazing. But the gel case does fit my phone nicely and doesn't get in the way. Fits snuggly in my pants pocket ( Bluejeans ). Nice gel cover if your looking for basic protection.

I ordered an AMZER because I have really liked the AMZER case of my existing Lumia 720. This one is also good and does not add muck bulk to the phone but my only disappointment is that the sides do not have a rough grip for additional safety of not slipping while operating with just one hand which was there on my existing Lumia 720 case by AMZER and also the back side of the case is plain unlike the curve design on that of the Lumia 720, other than that case is very good especially the way all AMZER cases cover even the button yet allow smooth operation of the same. I guess I might give the ESI pudding case for HTC 816 which seems to have exactly the same grip on either sides and the back design like that on the AMZER case I have for the Lumia 720. If you do not need a grip, this is a very good case.

Excellent fit and finish good feel to the product helps you hold the phone quality product top drawer piece of kit nicely understated.Worth the price? Yes when you consider the cost of the phone it's protecting. tinxi® Tempered Glass protection film was fitted at the same time and the phone is as good as new that was 6 months ago.

product is goodfitting is goodbut after usage of some months it has created some marks on the edges :(but this is better than other cases n looks premium

The product is good!! It's very thin and light weight!!. It's not transparent.Scratches happening in bottom of the surface..not a big issue!!Delivery is little bit late!!
