Crystal Exact Fine Point Pens (0.7 mm) - Black, Box of 20

The BIC Cristal Exact is a member of the Cristal family of ballpoint pens, made in Mexico, sold in a lot of different markets. Fortunately, Amazon makes it available in the US. The BIC Exact is my favorite BIC writing instrument because of its fine 0.7mm tip and unique ink formulation. The pen has the same superb stability and longevity as its siblings, but, overall, delivers a smoother, more effortless, and precise performance. The difference in perceived amount of glide between the Exact and, say, the Xtra Smooth is subtle, but definitely noticeable. The ink also appears a shade darker, slightly more vivid, and saturated. The pen does a superb job dampening vibrations and, therefore, reducing both tactile and audible feedback. Compared to its closest rival, the Paper Mate InkJoy 100ST, the BIC Cristal Exact has more of a conventional oil-based feel on paper and a smudge-proof, blob-free, crisp line quality. Some, however, might prefer the InkJoy's more lubricated feel and noticeably more vibrant appearance. In everyday use, the BIC Cristal Exact feels similar to the Zebra F-301 and the Uni Boxy 100 ballpoint pens. However, it is much more economically priced and lasts significantly longer.

I know these pens are not really fancy expensive pens but I love the way they write, especially the color blue and red. the color is always bold and never smears. The pen writes very smoothly and looks nice and neat. They also last me forever! Another big deal for me is that since I'm left handed I always get ink on my hand when writing with most pens but not these since the ink dries so fast and never smears or smudges. Great value too!

It's a light weight pen, ballpoint pen. Smooth enough for cursive handwriting and doesn't skip. So far I really am enjoying these pens, for the price point its a great pen and easy to handle. It's on the thinner side so if you prefer chunky pens like the Dr. Grip pens I wouldn't recommend this one. I put a photo side by side to the Pentel RSVP pen It's another common and popular ballpoint pen. I did a writing comparison with a liquid roller ball pen to compare the ink flow and thickness because they are both a 0.7 point. In my opinion I like the Cristal Exact Ballpoint pens by Bic way more than the original or bold tips. I'll probably be ordering the blue ink soon. Definitely a great purchase and enjoyable writing utensil. Overall very pleased.

I love these pens so much, I’m glad I found them, this one is sometimes difficult to find in the store. They write smoothly, I love the thin lines it makes and how it lets me write very sharply and see more detail. The ink dries very quickly, I have not had an issue with wet ink or smearing at all (I am right handed). I have used the same pen for several months now, is still going strong. I key these in my nightstand, ready if I need to write something quickly and carry them with me (along with other pens that I will let others use because I done want to lose this pen).

Pens are fully functional and good. However I got 19 instead of 20 and each pen was individually barcoded which was a pain in the ass to handle. They also look like they have been through a lot by the time they arrived and the carton box was very damaged. I would order the same product from a different seller even if for a little extra money.
