Light weight but sturdy enough to contain my Jack Russel dog. It was easy to assemble and put up with out permanent wall fixtures. It was easy to open or secure closed.

The gate is sturdy, fits wide stairways well, and was easy to install with the included extensions. It gives good peace of mind for keeping little ones safe. However, the latch is fairly simple, and older kids can figure out how to open it without much effort. Overall, a reliable safety gate for toddlers, but keep an eye out as kids grow.

This gate is brilliant; we had it installed in about 10 minutes. It’s sturdy, looks great, and keeps our puppies safely where they need to be. Just make sure you measure carefully and mark out the points first so you don’t have to redo it. Fits perfectly, super-easy-to-open function and gives real peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Excellent easy to use fit

Disappointed with the quality of this gate compared to other ones I have purchased of a similar price. I bought this one because it was wider and would fit the gap on my doorway as well as the stairs. It seems flimsy in comparison and only opens one way which is annoying for a doorway. Currently it’s only being used to separate the dogs from the rest of the house. I’m not sure how happy I will be with it when I come to use it on the stairs for grandchildren however.

Not a great design. Much better products on the market. Does not swing shut behind you, as do many others. So it gets left open quite often. Hard to close, you have to push down a leaver with quite some force. So if anybody/child is next to you when closing fingers can get nipped. I bought the extended version. My door way is 84cm. The stairgate is quite flimsy and not very sturdy when used at 84cm. This is the widest you can use it with out having to add in the extender part. You can add the extra width in but then it's too wide for my doorway.

I like it as it’s pretty solid and it looks nice as it blended in with the place. I use it to prevent my dogs from going into the lift.

Ordené esta reja para mi bebé y tenía mis reservas ya que leí malas reseñas pero me atrevo a decir que no hagan caso a las malas reseñas ya que cumplió con mis expectativas, llegó en perfecto estado empaquetada, la reja mide lo que dice en la descripción (49”) incluyendo extensiones y se ajustó perfecto a mi espacio de 48.5”/123cm, es de metal, fácil de instalar y queda muy rígida y estable, siempre y cuando LEAS Y SIGAS las instrucciones y la instalen correctamente; vi malas reseñas en cuanto a que es difícil de instalar o que la puerta no cerraba por quedar una abertura grande en la puertita pero literalmente viene con VARIOS letreros en la reja, caja e instrucciones que dicen que la abertura NO ES UN DEFECTO y se va cerrando conforme vayas ajustando la reja presionando con la pared, solo tienes que leer y seguir las instrucciones y será fácil instalarla y quedará segura. Además de la cerradura cuenta con un seguro extra para que no sea fácil que un niño la abra Contras: lo único malo es que la puerta es pequeña y no puedo pasar la carreola por ahí pero eso es porque yo paseo a mi bebé dentro de mi casa, además de que es para dejarse instalada en un solo lugar porque no es práctico estarla quitando y poniendo, pero aún así 10 de 10!!

It’s great and sturdy. Going strong even after all the force applied on it by a toddler. Easy to open and close added layer for security(double lock) make it useable for longer period of time
