Lovely bookGreat for preschoolers

Honestly, we love this book in our house. We've read it countless times and like any other Julia Donalson book, it is a masterpiece which encourages a child's imagination. Once you have done reading the book, watch the adaptation it captures the magic and brings it to the screen.

My little brother adores Julia Donaldson books and this one especially! We read The Smeds and The Smoos most nights and he loves to quote the story - as always there are plenty of memorable lines in this book.I find Julia Donaldsons books to be excellent for children, she always manages to write a story with a lovely message at the core, whilst making the story fun and memorable, and with all of her books, there’s a quote that you’ll remember!The illustrations are fabulous and the writing itself is simple enough for children to be able to read alone but not as simple as those old ‘Look in Here’ books, so definitely provides an opportunity to improve literacy skills.As always, I highly recommend Julia Donaldson books!
