It's a two-way street it's bigger and better but it's heavier. It does a fantastic job long as you remember to alter it to the correct settings. Ideally you could do with a swivel bracket that clamps into a voice. So you can hang it up out away or put it on a Shelf at the way then grab it to you and clamp it in a voice and Away you go. I have made my own swivel brackets that fits the Machine and The Voice.

Works well once you know the quirks. When switching sides on the cutters, you need to measure the side you just done and reset it, as it takes more off one side of cutters than the other side and vise versa…does get quite annoying. Hope that makes sense. Also the mechanism that grips the chain is not great although useable. Apart from that great for getting sharp chains especially your 10° milling chains that need to be sharp…

Great product. Relatively easy to set up and use. Great results so far. Chains like new after grinding Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Does what it is supposed to do.

Now that it has been used in anger, it has worked well. Clearly as with all equipment of this type, it is critical to ensure that your technical details are set correctly before use.

Wish I purchased this years ago. Takes a little working out to use but utube clips helpful. So much more effective and qucker in sharpening my chains then doing by hand. Saves money in purchasing new chains!

Great machine and very easy to use. Really well made and solid. Just be aware that it arrives with a 2 pin euro electrical plug not a 3 pin UK one. When I contacted Amazon about it their stock answer is to collect it and offer a refund. Why are you selling euro electrical items in the UK? Not a biggie really as I fitted a new plug easily, but not the point as I always thought it was a legal requirement to sell the correctly fitted plug in the correct country. Who knew.

Ho comprato questa macchina per togliere il problema dell'affilatura manuale che raramente dava risultati eccellenti. Immediatamente mi sono reso conto che si tratta di uno strumento professionale, nulla a che vedere con altre affilatrici di 80-100 euro. La precisione e la velocità di questo attrezzo sono difficili da raggiungere con affilatura manuale. Sto affilando motoseghe stihl di vario genere: potatura, taglio medio, e abbattimento. Lavoro sempre con catene che sembrano nuove. Cinque stelle meritatissime.... Consiglio l'acquisto

Alors : 1 c'est du l'acier, aluminium métal. 2 C'est robuste et ca tiens la route. 3 : la petite lumière est ultra importante. 4 : Affute les chaines de tronçonneuse mieux qu'un pro. 5 : Pas mal de possibilités d'affutages en fonction de la coupe ( bois sec, tendre, mixe, autres matériaux) 6 : je regrette de ne pas avoir acheter ce modèle avant. 7 : Rien à voir avec les affuteuses bas de gamme de la marque. Ca vaut au moins 150€

Rasche Lieferung, gute Verpackung. Ich bin von dieser Sägeketten Schleifmaschine sehr begeistert. Kompakte Bauweise, leichte Verstellung der Winkelgrade, gute Schleifergebnisse, ruhiger und leiser Lauf. Die Gebrauchsanweisung für den Zusammenbau ist allerdings eine Katastrophe: Die Verwirrung begann bei mir schon am Beginn, ausgelöst durch die vom Erzeuger fest montierten Teil zur Sägekettenaufnahme an der Hinterseite der Wandhalterung. Erst als sich die Verknotungen meiner Ganglien im Gehirn lösten, ging es einfach und schnell. Ein angebrachter Hinweis des Herstellers, z.B. ein Pickerl mit dem Hinweis zur Demontage der Sägekettenaufnahme als ersten Schritt, wäre sehr hilfreich. Trotzdem fünf Sterne, weil ich mit der Qualität und Leistung der Schleifmaschine sehr zufrieden bin.
