Brisby Hamster Cage

This is a very good cage for my mouse. He loves it and genuinely seems to be happy in it. The assembly was much easier than a lot of reviews I read made it sound. I was worried about how easy it was going to be to clean too, but it is actually very very easy to! The bottle that came with this set up actually doesn't leak! I almost didn't believe it. Everything seems to be decently made. What Pets is the Cage Suited For? Contrary to what the description says. I do not think this would be good for most hamsters. This cage genuinely is not big enough for any Syrian. The tubes may be, but Syrian hamsters need much more space than this. If you're looking for a cage for a Syrian I would go for the Prevue Pet Small Animal Home. It's the amount of space they need and will keep them in. It also gives them a place to climb. Even if you have a dwarf hamster though I would not recommend these types of cages. Hamsters, especially dwarfs, need much more unbroken floor space (min. should be about 24 inches long and 12 wide). Mice do much better in more vertical enclosures, whereas most dwarfs do not. I would use a bin that you can DIY mesh on. You can find tutorial videos on YouTube. It is very easy and cheap. TL;DR - This is a very good cage for a male mouse!! Of course a single female mouse would do fine too, they just tend to do better in groups. I don't know if I would keep two (females) in here, it depends on how bonded the pair are. I wouldn't use it for any more than 2, though. Most other rodents this will not work for. If they made this in a bigger size there would be almost nothing bad to say! It's just most commercial rodent cages are a bit too small.

This cage is perfect for my 2 mice!! It was easy to assemble and have plenty of room for both of them! the water bottle dose not leak and my wheel spins smooth :)) i couldn’t be happier with it! And no, the mice can not fit between the bars (that was my biggest concern) Love it !! 1 week update!!! still a perfect cage :) no drips in the bottle and everything still moves smooth :) ps… the water bottle also has measurements on it so you can keep track of the water intake :) Thank you Midwest Homes for Pets / Critterville Arcade!!!! ❤️ my mice love it so so much

The time most spend on putting this together was the black clip in 'screws' they were actually really hard, I used a small hammer on the last one, it just didn't want to clip in. Everything else was really simple to put together. The sand 'shower' clip was totally broken, if super glue doesn't hold it nicely I will completely remove it. Their's also a thin gap in the plastic connecting the top together. The wheel is also small, I would say it's more for dwarf hamsters. You could damage the hamsters spine if the wheel is too small. This is great for people with small rodents like dwarf hamsters, I wouldn't recommend it for any other size animal. Perhaps gerbils. The quality of the cage overall is nice. I did have to bend a few pieces back into place on the metal though upon arrival. Overall I'm not sure if I would recommend this to a new hamster owner because of how hard it is to put together. But I do like that it comes with tunnels, a wheel, and a bath.

I wrote a review when we first got this. It’s a really cool idea for a hamster home, but for our hamster it really doesn’t work well. She always goes the bathroom in the top portion and it leaks out the back and side air holes. It’s super obnoxious to take apart and clean too. I would change it to 2 stars. Great idea, poorly executed. Absolutely love this habitat! It was easy to assemble and as I was putting it together, I knew it was going to be sturdy! It’s so spacious and has a lot for her to do. The cage we bought when we got her was junk and we ordered this one right away. It came super quickly and we couldn’t wait to get her in!

Don't buy this piece of garbage and pray you never have to try and get it touch with a human at amazon

This cage is phenomenal. When I first adopted my hamster Rosie, I got one of the cheaper cages that looked good in pictures, but was definitely a cat fish. Rosie loves this cage and so do I. Yes it is smaller, but it is not small. What I also love about it is that this cage is expandable. The manufacturer even included parts to help connect different manufacturers products to this one. I am really interested. My hamster loves climbing the cage, and unlike the other cage that was big but just tall empty space, she can climb on the cage and does not need to worry about falling, although, that was more so me worrying than her. The water bottle is very tall, making it need to be filled less frequently. The only small thing I would suggest for easier daily use is since the door is in on the top of the cage part, sometimes it can be difficult to maneuver my hand in the cage to let Rosie out. Arguably though that is a benefit since I don’t have to worry about Rosie somehow figuring a way out of the cage. I’m honestly considering getting another one of these cages just to connect to the one I have, Rosie loves this cage. (Rosie is a Large Short Hair Syrian Hamster)

I take away stars because the ramps fell off easy and my hamster escaped this cage on multiple occasions, I had to clip the door with a lock to keep him from opening it. My hamster eventually outgrew the wheel and I had to get a bigger one. I was afraid that as my hamster grew fatter he would get stuck in the tubing (it was an extremely tight fit). This is more suitable for a hamster that stays small. The top of the green hamster house also frequently popped off.

I recieved the cage with two openings instead of one like in the picture, and only one door to block the opening. We spent a long time to assemble it only to find out the item arrived defective and does not work.

The cage was fairly straightforward to assemble while following the directions, some of the pictures could have been better, but I did okay. My long-haired hamster; Freddie had been in it for a couple of days now, every night he has knocked the water bottle down. Last night he took it a step further and tore it to pieces, trying to get water after his run. Thankfully I still had his bottle from the old cage. It worked as a replacement so the little guy could quell his thirst. In short, it seems like a good cage except for the water bottle, I feel it needs some improvements to accommodate the larger, perhaps more destructive hamsters out there.

WoW I have bought many hamster cages. But I never seen this product before. Awesome 1. Super quality. 2. spare many parts : I have 4 white ring and more spare parts. In future, If there is something problem, I can use this spare parts. Weakness 1. When I connect the steel cage to plastic cage(upper clear plastic cage), It was too difficult for me.. :) Anyway, I will buy something more in your store. Thanks very much!

La jaula es HERMOSA, muy amplia para el hámster, yo tengo un Sirio, cabe Perfecto por la tubería, se pasea muy bien por las rampas, ama su casa que ya viene incluida, ella sube y baja por toda la casa sin ningún problema, yo la veo muy feliz. Lo que si hay que tomar en cuenta es que el acrílico es muy delicado, un golpecito y se rompe y NO HAY REPUESTOS DE NADA Y BYE BYE A LA MITAD DE TU JAULA!! es el único punto negativo que le veo. Su limpieza pues como cualquier otra jaula con la ventaja q no tienes que sacar a tu hámster de ella, solo divides la jaula dependiendo en qué parte esté. Accesorios extras de la tubería e buscado y no encontrado alguno que se compatible con los que ya trae para ampliarla.
