Great Product
Perfect for cleaning my air rifles and pistols, I shoot competition, and I am a retired marksman. Now it's all about competing and plinking a few squirrels. Someone wrote it was made of cheap plastic well mine is all metal other then the handle. I do use other lubricants then what came with it. As well as other cleaners. Great product.

Good Deal
This is a really good cleaning kit for the price. Cleaning rod is sectioned, and aluminum. Comes with a fair amount of lubricating oil, and patches. Also a nice bronze bore brush. I like to get a good value for my money, and this seems to fit the bill. One problem I encountered was that some of the oil had leaked out in shipping, and ruined some of the patches. This was due I think, to rough handling during shipment. Other than that, it arrived in good condition.

piece of crap
the rods broke the first time i used them. cheap, chincey crapola. what a waste of money. they include patches BUT NOT PATCH eyelet pusher for the patches. AWFUL. the rods are made out of the thinnest crappy "metal" seriously like TIN. I own 2 gamo pellet guns and they are top notch so i thought their brand cleaning kit would also be quality. well i am a big dope! I see this item is no longer available which is GOOD it is a piece of crap

Not Impressed
I opened the shipping box with the cleaning kit and discovered what I saw in a picture was a far cry from what I got. I did not get the white box with the stand and...well, what I got was a blister pack with a flimsy rod that was not long enough for my Silent Cat. It is ok for non-noise reduction guns but not anything with the extension on the end of the barrel because it is not long enough to reach past the muzzle or chamber end, whichever direction you insert and use the rod. Also, there is no tip to hold a patch. There are patches included but there is no way to secure a patch to any jag...because there is no jag or slotted top to thread a patch through. I would not want to lose a patch inside the noise reducer and have to dig it out somehow. Anyone who buys this still needs to buy a jag or slotted tip, and a longer rod. The felt pellets are ok but I am with the other reviewer who said that using such a light weight projectile may damage the rifle. Shooting a felt wad through the barrel is about the same as dry firing. I just wonder why the companies promote these pellets, especially for the 1200 fps guns anyway. The oil is a necessity, but not in the barrel. I use a very light coating just to give the bore some lube, then wipe it dry as I can with a dry patch or however many it takes to assure the bore does not have any oil left behind. The brushes and felt cleaning wads work for the calibers intended: 17, 22 and 25. I will have to figure out how to use the 22 and 25 wads. Maybe I can use them at the restaurant with my drink straw. I cannot say I am sorry I got this though. I saw the other kit for much more money and I have one I do not use so I didn't get that style cleaning kit. I got the cheaper one because I already have a cradle for my rifle. All in all, I am on the fence whether I would recommend this kit. I think for the price I paid it is ok but the price is bound to go up and one can assemble a much sturdier kit from other sources. You decide. Make sure whatever you do, you get the proper oil for an air rifle. Pyramid will be able to give you some insight about that. It is my understanding that only specially formulated oils and greases are suitable for an air rifle.

Decent Starter Kit for Air Rifle
This kit is a good starting point for cleaning air rifles in both .177 and .22 cal. It also includes a brush and cleaning pellets for .25cal. I use the .25cal. for cleaning airsoft guns. I purchased this mostly to clean my Gamo Silent Cat break barrel rifle. Now I'll break down each individual item: The cleaning rod itself is fairly nice and works as it should. The rifling of my barrel does occasionally cause the rod to unscrew but I can deal with that in such an inexpensive kit. The handle is great and does allow the rod so spin as it should. However, I was very disappointed that the rod did not come with a cleaning pad tip. This is probably the biggest downside to the kit. The wire brushes, however are very nice and do the job of removing grime and built up led very well. The oil that comes in this kit was slightly unscrewed upon arrival so there was a film of oil on the bottle, but it didnt affect any other parts of the kit. As a warning: this oil is not intended for use in break-barrel style rifles as it will diesel(or combust) under the extreme pressure and eventually wear out the seams and o-rings, thus destroying your gun. This was only a minor issue for me because I had silicone oil on hand that is designed for air rifle use so I use this oil in my Daisy pump rifle and airsoft guns. This oil does that job nicely. The cleaning patches are just your basic square cloth patched and will get the job done if you have a tip for them to use with the rod. The cleaning pellets are a great idea, but I wouldnt recommend shooting them through the gun as they are so light that it is almost as bad as dry-firing the gun. instead, I oil them and then push them through the barrel with the rod two or three times. There isnt really much to be said about the brush. It does its job and can reach all over my rifles to clean the grime and built up oil and lead. Overall, this is a nice kit for beginners and includes almost everything needed to clean your air rifle and airsoft guns. Plus, the price absolutely can't be beat.

Not the quality I expect from GAMO
The kit itself is not that exciting. The rods are lightweight and flimsy. Additionally, they don't reach the end of my rifle barrel. The bottle of gun oil is very small, but it does come with a ton of cleaning patches and rods. I'm sure there are a dozen better kits for the money. As if all of this wasn't enough, when I bought the product the seller included a picture of the Air Rifle Maintenance Center Kit. The confirmation email I received originally also included the wrong image. The error was apparently realized after it was shipped. Overall, not thrilled about this purchase.

The only bit of this kit that I've used are the patches & cleaning pellets. The rod is a fairly good design, free spinning in the handle for the brushes will rotate along with the rifling in your barrel - but there is no "pull through" end attachment. I had to make a boresnake to make use of the cleaning patches.
