For the dry and damaged soul
My hair is thick, brittle and yet sometimes I feel like my roots can get oily. I was desperate to find something to rescue it after seeing my dead ends break off just from brushing it. I could feel such a difference after using this shampoo just one time. My hair was so much more hydrated and smooth but my roots felt so clean! I am hooked! This shampoo was also bit more affordable than Opalex and has a refill size option that lasts quite a bit.

It's Okay – Smells Amazing, But Not Worth the Trouble
The shampoo itself works fine, but I honestly don’t see the hype. I have thick hair and felt like I had to use a lot more product than usual just to get a decent lather. The best part about it is definitely the scent – it smells so good, kind of like the dried flower section at Hobby Lobby, which I loved. That said, I would highly recommend buying this through Ouai directly or from a beauty store like Sephora. This seller first sent me the wrong product for my hair type, and when I finally got the right one, it arrived damaged. Stores like Sephora actually pack the shampoo properly with bubble wrap or protective filler, so the bottle doesn’t get destroyed during shipping. Save yourself the hassle and go with a more reliable source.
