Installed them as book shelves in my wife's craft room. 5 shelves for good money. Other sets were for 3 or 4 shelves. They look great screwed right together and easy to screw in the wall. For books or heavy stuff I would recommend screwing them in to the studs. set the base so 2 screws are top and bottom and screw in a stud. for the side by side holes I just put in some short screws into the sheetrock for looks, they do not hold any weight. I used 2 in screws for the studs and it holds a 2x10x7 feet and books from one end to the other.

These pipe shelf brackets are awesome. I love the rustic look and they provide great support for my shelves.I bought them for shelves I built above the desks I built for my children. My daughter loves pink, so I painted them pink to match her room.The biggest issue with this product is the wall anchors. The are very cheap and do not allow for the screws to pull into them. I found that they would just spin in the wall. So I used other high quality anchors instead.I was able to rotate the wall bracket to allow for 3 of the screws to bite into studs, so I only had to use one anchor for the dry wall for each bracket.As long as you use a different wall anchor, this is an excellent product. They received 4 stars because of the anchors provided.

Well, the brackets look nice, and are lightweight. That's the good. I did notice that some of the flat mounting plates are crooked causing the pipe to lean one way or the other. I was able to use 6 of the 10 brackets. Buyer beware.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The hardware is not good enough though so you may need to buy screw in anchors if you’re not attaching to studs. The little green anchors they give you are probably the cheapest anchors you can get.

These are a nice finishing touch for shelves. Seem really sturdy. Just note that they don't look EXACTLY like uron pipes from a hardware store. They're slightly more tacky looking but still decent material. The anchors are garbage though so don't even try to use them. Buy your own.

Our only complaint about these, which is a fairly big one, is that our arms were not 90 degree angles. Therefore, when our shelves were mounted using the pipes our shelves were cambering forward slightly, enough that a ball would roll off the front when placed on it. We were forced to put spacers in between the wood and the attachment piping to even it out. Not noticeable to the untrained eye, but it’s one of those things that WE the homeowners know is there.

The brackets themselves seem sturdy, however the mounting equipment they sent is not sturdy at all and should not be used. There were quite a few areas of paint chips on the brackets, which I will have to paint over. Some of the brackets were crooked which I was able to bend back into shape. For $40 it’s not a bad deal, but not for someone who wants the perfect look. THESE ARE PAINTED MATTE BLACK, they are galvanized black metal.

I love these industrial pipe brackets! They are solid. Only one of the wall plates had one eyelet partially closed with the same iron they’re made of. See picture. I attached that end to the shelf and secured the remaining 3 holes. I’m glad this issue was only on one (the last one!) and not on multiple brackets or it would’ve been a huge problem. Overall I’m pleased with the product. It completed the look I was going for on my kitchen. Very good value for price and the exact amount of brackets I needed for four shelves.
