Love love love this lock box. Gives me easy access to my gun without the worries of my granddaughter getting ahold of it.

This is truly my favorite safe and have bought two. One mounted to the side of my headboard and the other inside wall of my closet. I carry a gun almost daily and opening and closing this safe the batteries last up to half a year. Other safes batteries only lasted a month. Quick access, easy to mount and hide.

This is a solid purchase. The mechanism works great, and a little light comes on to see what you're doing when you open it.Only difficulty is in mounting it sideways. Hard to get the torque on the screws to go through, considering you only have a few inches on the inside to work with; can't really get a large screwdriver in there. HOWEVER, if you mount it via the screwholes on the "back" it works just fine, as you reach through the device to screw it against a wall.

I just received mine in the mail yesterday and so far after mounting it I am super pleased. Easy mounting to the wall with some drywall anchors and screws. If you have big hands, like I do, you may have problems putting the "locking screws" into the wall mount through the safe. Also, the instructions say a minimum of 6 digits for your pass code, it is a minimum and maximum. It will only accept a 6 digit code. Besides that I am so far very happy with this safe and will update after a few months of use and owning it.

Bought this to provide secure but quickly accessible storage for a handgun products seemed well-built and well designed it was difficult to screw to the wall mount plate because my hands are rather large and could not fit inside the box but once installed works perfectly snaps open very quickly quite pleased with the purchase especially for the price

What can be done if you forgot to change the battery and now it's dead. Anyway to open the case?
