Awesome little screw top containers
Great small storage containers for a cheap price. Hold loose beads, or nicnacks great. These are actually awesome. Got them for being able to sanitize stuff and they hold up in the pressure cooker since they're PP5.

PP5 reuseable petri dishes for mycology
These PP5 bead cups work well as reusable Petri dishes. You can use them for no pour agar, and they eliminate the need for parafilm. Sturdier than condiment cups, and less plastic waste. It's an economical and eco-friendly alternative. They are slightly more opaque than regular plastic Petri dishes, and I would suggest using food color in your agar for better contrast and clarity. Overall I am very pleased with them. UPDATE: The clarity is fine without any food coloring. They're airtight and have become one of my favorites.

Finally a fairly priced option for these. If you are looking for the adapted screw top Petri dishes, this is them. And for far less than the previous vendor that keeps jacking the prices up, and for far fewer items. If this vendor maintains this price, they will have a stack of cash in short order. These are PP5 on both the tops and the bottoms. They do just fine in PC Sterilization. Clear enough to see any culture you are growing easily. Absolutely perfect for "No Pour", petri dishes. I will be ordering many more of these in the future.

Amazing for a non traditional use! Work well for Mushroom culture dishes.
I used these for my Lion's Mane, Reishi, Blue oyster culture dishes. Not traditional use but works well and can handle being pressure cooked!

Sturdy & reasonably priced
Use as reusable solid media plates. Plates don’t dry out, don’t appear to require parafilm (haven’t noticed contamination issues). They do become less clear after autoclaving. No issues with caps and bottoms working together.

I use these for other purposes
These are really nice containers. I use them as petri dishes for no pour agar. Very durable and stood up well in the autoclave. This speaks volumes to the durability of these containers.

Awesome deal, great product
Exactly what’s needed for no pour agar. It makes it so simple to create your own plates you pour first and then you pressure cook them with the lid slightly loosened, sterilizes them safely and then you just screw the lids down snug when you take them out. The craziest part is they are cheaper than the single use Petri dishes despite being reusable, and you don’t have to fiddle with sealing them in parafilm, just screw it closed.

I use these as water dishes for insect feeders
These are perfect for using as insect feeders watering source. I punch two holes in the top, one hole I feed a water wick thru, the other hole I replenish water thru. Insects drink off the water wick and no nasty issues with watering feeder insects. It works brilliantly.
