Q: Why it is not fresh? i ordered 7 ones as gifts for some coworkers. i received them on dec 11. the expiration date is next year may. only five months.

Expires in 5 months ? That’s good and they are small you will drink then way before that. f taste is your concern, your best bet is to store coffee in an airtight container somewhere cool, dry, and dark. Stored this way, ground coffee can be used for a few months past its expiration date, whole bean for up to nine months, and instant coffee for up to twenty years.

Q: is the ground suitable for a coffee press?

Yes, it is medium grind. For French press better will be coarse grind but you could have a hard time to find it.

It's powder like, since it's ground coffee beans.

Q: Is this coffee medium or dark roast ?it says in the back of the package n°5..little strong i guess..is there n°3 for sale which is less strong?

Fatima this coffee dark roast and is strong but very smooth.
