Display Easel, Black

I reviewed many display easels in the $15 to $25 range not wanting to spend much. We needed one within a few days for displaying a college diploma in a pretty good size frame, weighing something between 5 and 10 pounds. In that price range, most everything was flimsy, poorly made, and not for "professional use". Though somewhat more expensive, this stand had a number of desirable features the others didn't. Not wanting to take a chance of the stand falling, tipping over, or unable to support the weight and possibly damaging the frame (the diploma frame was over $200), I decided it was worth it to spend the extra money. I was certainly not disappointed and absolutely recommend this easel if you want one that is sturdy, excellently made, looks great, and will not damage what you are displaying.

CENTER SUPPORT: Unlatch center tripod support, move to about half total leg height or lower, lock into place. 3. DISPLAY HOLDERS: Slide display holder arms to desired location, then pull out horizontally to lock in place. You may use the grip grooves on the arms to hold your display board/art securely without slipping. What distinguishes this as higher quality are the leg tip grips, the center tripod support, the holder display grips, and the excellent craftmanship (lightweight & sturdy, no loose parts, easy to set up). My only recommended improvement is to make the grips black to match, instead of white.

Our team uses 20 of these for events we do often. Because they are indeed very light weight, they're not very sturdy; the legs should either be weighed down, or the easels need to be in low-traffic areas. Other than that, these are well made, and quite functional. I appreciate the grips, both on the legs, and on the art holders. The fold out art holders are height adjustable, which is a also great feature. Even the finish on them is nice (we have the black ones). We'll use these until they break - expect to get a lot of use out of the 20 we have!

I did not open this package for a couple of days because I dreaded having to assemble this. When I did finally open it, I was bowled over...no assembly required!! It easily adjusted to the height I wanted and the display adjusters were soooo easily changed. It is attractive and very sturdy.,..I couldn't be happier!

My husband uses this for his whiteboard when teaching and it works great. No complaints! :)

I got two of these easels for our wedding, to support one large foam board, and one large acrylic sign. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so large online without having seen it in person, so I ordered one first. Once we got it, my husband took it out, tried setting it at various heights, opening and closing it. Thankfully, it worked wonderfully and was surprisingly sturdy (especially for the price - so many of the other easels offered online are triple the price), so we ordered a second one. We brought both of the easels to the venue for our wedding, and they stood up wonderfully on both concrete and on the grass! We were so happy with this purchase, especially with the affordable price tag, since they were purchases for just one-day-use. After the wedding was over, we put them back in their boxes and brought them home with us, and they're still in absolutely perfect condition. I am a face painter who used this Easel to display my selection board. It is lightweight and great for indoor use but definitely blows over in the wind outdoors. Not super durable. Lasted a few years then broke. Together me and Easel went to all kinds of places: churches, family reunions, movie premieres, non-profit charity events, and fetish balls. We had a great relationship for a few years until one day it fell apart on me for no reason. Granted, I did drop Easel more than a few times and it probably suffered minor abuse in transit (everything was consensual). I wish Easel wouldn't have broken on me in the middle of an event, but that's the way things go. I'll be moving on now in search of the perfect easel that I hoped this one could have been, but alas.

Bought these easels to use for displays for community events where we needed signage. While they're not the smallest size when folded down, they're nice and lightweight and easy to transport. I purchased three and it's nice to have a full set that all set up the same way. Note: when you fold these down, move the two poster anchors to the middle of the top rod and THEN fold the anchors in on themselves. They're easier to slide when they're folded out, but with the center mechanism, these need to be out of the way for the easel to fold down on itself nicely.

Hice mucha investigación de tripiés, calidad, reviews, materiales, precios, conveniencia, etc. tengo dos pizarrones blancos de 90x60 cm, y compré los dos para poder agarrarlos cuando juguemos Pictionary con amigos en la sala en equipos. Cuando me llegó, me sorprendió lo fácil y rápido que se armaba todo. Como las patas están todos linked por hilos negros, solo lo agarré desde la parte de arriba del tripié y dejé lo demás caer desdoblándose solo, y solo con eso se armó automáticamente como magia. Solo que, no aguantan nada. Con simplemente posicionarlos en algún lugar, temblaban demasiado y eso que no le había colocado nada aún. Las patas súper frágiles, se doblaban y los bracitos que sirven para sostener el cuadro o pizarron o lo que quieras desde abajo, se doblaban para abajo y luego para adentro. Al menos que lo que vayas a sostener sea una hoja de papel, no lo recomendaría a nadie. Encontré otros aquí en Amazon de 30x mejor calidad por el mismo precio e incluso menos. No pierden tiempo ni dinero.

It is used to support a small antique oval mirror in an ormolu frame, a heavy and precious item, but is quite perfect for its intended purpose being utterly reliable for its strength and solidity yet is neither ugly nor cumbersome. The neatness, fine quality and finish of the easel are admirable.

This was the cheapest and flimsiest piece of metal. Don’t waste your money
