Both Sulfur and Salicylic Acid have been used for thousands of years by holistic healers. Our soap is safe for everyday use by adults and children. INGREDIENTS: Saponified Oils (from palm and coconut), Water, Precipitated Sulfur, Glycerin (from vegetable oil), Salicylic Acid, Soyethyl Morpholinium Ethosulfate (soy-derived natural odor control), Table Salt, and Salt of Pentetic Acid. Directions: For best results use daily. Work-up a lather using warm water and gently massage into problem areas. Soap should stay in contact with skin for at least 60-90 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because some users experience a drying of their skin when using soaps, start with a small test application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If desired, follow cleansing with the moisturizer of your choosing. Warnings: Keep out of reach of children For external use only Do not use on broken skin Avoid contact with eyes If excessive skin irritation develops or increases discontinue use If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately Sulfur will tarnish sterling silver

Amazing help for my acne rosacea!!
I have rosacea and it was usually manageable. I only had to deal with redness and a bump here and there so I knew how to manage it but last month my rosacea got the worst it had ever gotten. I had been exposing my face a lot more to the sun than usual due to work. I wore my moisturizer with sunscreen, separate sunscreen, and cc cream with spf 50 but even then my rosacea got out of control. I had really bad rosacea acne (bumps that look like little pimples), my face itched so much, and it was literally burning all the time even though it wasn’t sunburnt. After much research I knew I needed something with sulfur and salicylic acid. Everything in the drugstore had too many other ingredients that would trigger my rosacea more like benzoyl peroxide. After finding this bar on amazon I decided to give it a try and honestly BEST DECISION EVER!! It has made such a difference. Every bump is gone. There’s still very little redness but that’s part of having rosacea. I have been using it every day/ once a day for 3 and a half weeks. I literally started seeing the difference in a matter of days but it took about two weeks for my face to be completely clear from bumps. It does make your face dry but I always use a good amount of moisturizer afterwards and it balances it all out!

The soap has a slight "rotten egg" smell to it, but it does leave your skin feeling clean!
I have very oily skin. It's to the point that in the middle of the day, I need to blot my entire face to get refreshed. I typically use Origins natural skin care products, but since I get adult acne, I have to incorporate a 7% benzoyl peroxide gel on my face after cleaning and toning. This typically works out for me, but on the weeks when I encounter more stress, I sometimes break out and need additional help. I usually look for some sort of salicylic acid solution to target any new breakouts, and I find it helps get me back on track. For my latest breakout, I did some research on Amazon.com and found the 10% sulfur/3% salicylic acid bar soap from DermaHarmony. The 3% salicylic acid is why I initally came, but the 10% sulfur intrigued me further. I have never used sulfur in an everyday skin product, but apparently it's been used for thousands of years for problematic skin conditions like acne and excessive oil. I decided to give it a go.When the bar first arrived, I opened up the packaging and gave it a smell. It did have a light "rotten egg" aroma to it because of the sulfur, but it wasn't overbearing. I used warm water and lathered it up. I gently massaged my face and body with the suds and left it on for a few minutes (they say to keep it on for at least 1-minute). After rinsing it off, there was a noticeable difference in how clean my skin felt. Afterwards, I dried my face, and continued with my regimen of toning, applying benzoyl peroxide, and moisturizer. For the regular user, this is may too drying, but with my oily skin and moisturizer, my skin was in equilibrium. I even noticed my face didn't get as oily as it typically does in the middle of the day!Overall, I think this bar can help people with oily and acne-prone skin. It does have a slight smell to it, and I found it makes my shower smell a bit since it's in an enclosed area. During the day, I can sometimes pick up on the sulfur as well, but asking my girlfriend, she said she doesn't notice it at all. It may depend on how sensitive one is to certain smells. I do like the fact that this bar gives me a good sense of balance in that it helps with oily skin and helps dry out any blemishes. If I feel my face getting too dry, I just add moisturizer. Try it out, and see if it works for you!

Beware: Non-sensitive skin & broke out in rash
My skin hasn't been bad acne-wise in a long time, but since summer and sweaty weather, I started getting a few break outs and decided to try this. I don't normally have sensitive skin and have never had a skin related allergy, but this product was whoa!I've used a 10% sulfur cream wash from a doctor with no problems and I've used a 22% salicylic peel (which stays on over night) with no problems, but this soap made me break out in an itchy rash on my body and made the skin on my face peel! That was after using just 2 days. I even dropped it in the shower and it made the bottoms of my feet itchy for a week!I'm sure this product might work for some people since I've had good luck with sulfur and salicylic (separately) in the past but this was just too much for me. Must be the combo of the ingredients together or not a good brand, not sure, but I had to throw it away. It almost looks like a chemical burn on my chest. (I've worked in a dermatologist office so I'm familiar.) Unfortunate waste of money. At this point in my life I'd say I have normal skin with an oily T- zone...so not super oily and not dry. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless maybe you have extremely oily skin and don't use daily.

Affordable, reliable acne treatment.
Ive been battling acne since I was 12 years old, Ive tried everything from proactive, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear and many more. Ive even seeked out professional help from a dermatologist. Ive been on 10% benzoyle peroxide gel and Minocycline and these didnt help much. About a year ago, I found sulfur acid online and i tried it and it has worked the best. I rarely get acne anymore and when I do, it is very manageable. This is the easiest solution ive found for acne, I wash my face with the soap in the morning and once before bed and thats it. No wasting time letting products set on your face like Proactive. This last month, I ordered my first 5 pack of DermaHarmony sulfur soap and Ive been pleased with there product. They offer the same outcome as the competitors at a lower price. I highly reccomend this product to anyone serious about wanting to get rid of acne.
