Our shampoo choice went from pantene to argan to this, and we finally found a shampoo that doesnt irritate my wife's scalp! My wife has 3c hair and this works very well for detangling her hair. It has no harash smells and doesnt dry the scalp. Also, we go to the gym or play tennis everyday, and her scalp stays moisturise and not irritated for the day that shes unable to wash her hair. Especially, when compared to other products that we have tried. As for myself, I have 1a hair and is prone to thinning. I've noticed my hair grow thicker and healthier since we have switched to this shampoo. Moreover, we think that the price is reasonable here in amazon. It is pricier than buying pantene or headnshoulders but those feel like its bleaching our scalp. If you are having scalp problems, drying and or any irritation, try this shampoo out. Your hair is worth it. Also, if you are experiencing hairloss, throw out those cheap garbage shampoo. Moreover, dont buy this at ulta or target, its almost twice more. We have found this to be the cheapest here on amazon and regularly on sale.

I've just started using this set and am only a couple shampoos in, but the results have been positive already. I took the no-poo route a couple of years ago because I was tired of the chemical build-up that shampoos and conditioners can cause, but I eventually slid back into using them because I missed my hair smelling good (as opposed to having no smell), and using no-poo didn't give my hair the texture I wanted. I've been in search of a more gentle washing method, but practically everything I've tried thus far has had the worst possible effect, which is drying out my hair. I'd rather it be unmanageably soft (totally a thing) than feel like straw. This SheaMoisture set wasn't like that at all. Firstly, I love the smell of the shampoo. Some Shea products can be way too nutty smelling, but this has an amazing smell. The conditioner doesn't smell as good, but it doesn't mask the other good smell, either. My hair is soft, flowy, and just looks better without styling products than it did before. I've been using natural henna for the red effect for over a year, have grown out almost all the chemical dyes and bleach previously put in, and am trying to use heat products only once a week and for special occasions. I'm mentioning this only because I think the pre-existing condition of your hair is important to consider when trying a new shampoo, especially a natural one. I would recommend this product because thus far, it's the best gentle shampoo and conditioner I've come across, smells great, and it actually doesn't take a ridiculous amount of product for my long, thick hair. Bonus points on that one.

YOU GUYS- The ingredients in this are really pure, natural, partially organic, and you really cannot beat the price. I researched shampoos and conditioners for hours- literally. I was using the EWG website and amazon reviews to narrow down my search. Most of the products I ended up with were a fortune! (mostly because I was going for organic ingredients). I knew about this brand and shampoo and conditioner set right at the start of my search because it has great reviews overall and because it has a really great EWG rating, but I was hesitant my hair would be dried out by it based on some of the reviews. I AM TELLING YOU- use it for a week and you will love it. The combination of natural, organic, safe ingredients and the price make this set hard to beat. I really never write reviews unless I love something. And I fell in love with this after the first time I used it and it has only gotten better since. The shampoo really cleans my hair and the conditioner makes my hair so, so soft. The smell is nice- a little musky, but I still like it. I will continue purchasing for a long time- please don't change SheaMoisture!

The product is good, smells good, and feels soft to touch. I will continue to use and hope to continue with good results, and less hair shedding. Great product to try on your hair style. My hair tangles easily, and this did not cause tangles.

People like to talk about the smell, it had a lighter smell, which was not objectionable too. The conditioner had a better smell, but again it was a light smell. After one use of the shampoo and the conditioner, I can honestly say that my hair wasn’t frizzy, seems sufficiently moisturized as well as the split ends were not showing. I’ve used high and shampoo and conditioner, which was not anywhere near as helpful as this particular product. I am impressed with it and will continue to use it every other time that I wash my hair.
