If you have migraine this of us have
I swear by this ice pack for migraines!!!! When I get my migraines, I need pressure and I love the tightness of this!! I bought several so I can have them in different places such as my work home and on the go! Even when I’m not using the ice pack of it since it needs to be refrigerated again, I use the tightness band with another ice pack! I love that you’re also able to use it for heat as well as cold! The relief is so good that as soon as I take it off, my migraine comes back a little bit so I put it back on real quick! I’ve had mine for a little over a year now and it works really well!

Headaches gone!
Great headache relief. Almost works immediately. Love the bag it comes in to keep freezer smells off the fabric.

Nice and cool!
My husband and I think this is a good value for the money and wear this around our necks when we walk on hot summer days. There is no appreciable smell to the item, the velcro is strong, and the ice pack stays cold for up to a half hour. This being the case, I searched in vain for replacement ice packs to fit the item but to no avail. Instead, I purchased appropriate length soft ice packs to insert into the headband, not a perfect fit but doable. We keep the spares cold in an insulated lunch bag with hard ice packs, no big deal since we like to walk with extra weight in our backpacks anyway. I deducted one star due to replacement ice packs for this item being strangely unavailable. Perhaps the manufacturer could include a spare ice pack with the headband?

Well, it's definitely an ice pack.
This is, in fact, an ice pack. If you are looking for something cold to apply to some part of your body, this will fit the bill. I bought this, along with a few other ice packs, including another Hilph product, because I have a migraine literally all the time, unfortunately. Positives: the Hilph products I use, including this one, have soft fabric that prevents ice burns. The Velcro is very sturdy. You have to readjust it as the gel cools and spreads out, but you have to do that with any product like this. But the Velcro is sturdy and doesn't unstick from itself when used normally. This ice pack also gets very cold, which is great because ice is very effective for my chronic migraines. Negatives: unlike the other Hilph product I have (the long wraparound pack that covers your eyes and forehead), this one gets extremely hard. I expect cold packs to get stiff because the material is freezing, but this one, once frozen, isn't malleable at all until it's been outside of the freezer for a significant period of time. To me, this is negative because it makes the pack uncomfortable to wear. Secondly, the thin design (thin compared to the other ones I have) means its area of effect is smaller, but this is not a big deal to me because hey, it's clearly shown in the picture how big it is and measurements are included But here's the biggest negative for me - part of the material used doesn't hold in condensation. Let me be clear: the cold pack is NOT leaking. but condensation forms on the outside (like how a cold beverage in a can will get wet once you take it out of the fridge) and because of the type of fabric, it will just drip off of the pack and onto you or anything you're around. It's not a massive amount of liquid, but it's enough that I used the pack once and then banished it to the back of the freezer, never to be seen again until I move apartments, whenever that might be. All in all, I would overwhelmingly recommend Hilph products. Just not this one. Check out their wider version that goes over your eyes and forehead because I have two and just ordered my third. It's a couple of dollars more, but it's exponentially better than this.

Works well shipped quickly item as described
Just toss it in the freezer. Works well for cooling feeling on eyes and forehead. Great for when your eyes hurt from straining.

Works great, thaws a bit quickly.
Works great, easy to use. The bag keeps the freezer smells out of it. It helps tremendously with easing migraines. It feels like it thaws a bit quick, but I have two of them now.

Nice
Fits nicely around my head so it’s great for headaches. The cold does not last as long as I would like though.

The cooling element (just a freezer bag in a very "face friendly" shape) works wonders. However the cover arrives w a very strong smell of neoprene volatile vapours (to with many migraine sufferers will be super sensitive) and needs a proper wash and about a week of airing for it to dissipate. My partner now uses just the cooling element cooled in fridge instead of freezer, super comfortable worn inside a double folded 'buff' headband. Despite those downsides it's worth every penny for the instant relief it provides when the migraine gremlins strike.

I finally found the perfect wrap for migraine headaches. Excellent quality. No more having to hold on to an ice pack.

Smells terrible. If you have a migraine and sensitive to smells this is the worst thing you can have. I tried airing for two weeks and tried washing with cold water. Nothing worked. It also doesn't feel cold enough and doesn't stay cold very long.
