Simply put, these enable you to connect your newer USB-C only phones/devices to all those things that you used to use (& more now) when you had a 3.5mm port on your phone/device. I have been reliably using these for streaming music, podcasts & youtube, etc. to a quality soundbar, a Pulse Bluetooth speaker (wired w/ Bluetooth off) &, a vintage 2+1 powered stereo PC speaker set all at the same time using 3.5mm splitters from this adapter. Yes, I know it seems silly w/ all those wires BUT, it does sound really great with this adapter's built in DAC chip using a variety of decent sounding equipment I already own from many years ago to recently. I do also use this adapter w/ an Anker 6 in 1 adapter to connect newer cellphones to my large TV via HDMI and to a seperate vintage HiFi stereo system (this adapter to double male ended cable & 3.5mm to 1/4" phono adapter plug), while charging phone & not casting to my smart TV (that's not connected to WiFi often) for web browsing, shopping, photos, music, video content &, movies, etc. These also work great for those gazillion wired earbuds laying around you can use/carry again as backup to your wireless earbuds or, your older "High End" wired stereo headsets. A caveat being that, depending on the power requirements of those really expensive headsets, there could be a lower max volume output, such as with a pair of older Oppo cans I tested. Haven't had an issue w/ smaller & recent headset models tested yet. NOTE: To help minimize wear of the USB-C ports, I utilize magnetic USB-C connectors which, do work with this adapter without compromising the sound quality (to my ear). Magnetic connectors make connecting from device to device quick & easy while protecting that only USB-C port you have from dirt, water (water resistant), & excessive wear occurring from repeated and or fumbling attempts to insert USB-C connectors on the go, in poor weather or light conditions, etc. I've tried other brands that failed, these havent failed in months & are a great value for the $$. Buy with confidence!

The sound quality of Amazon's Fire HD 10 is just adequate for most casual uses,. There isn't any detailed technical specs available, so I have to base my comments on actual listening. When I plugged the Auxlink Hifi Pro adapter into the USB C port of my Fire HD 10, it worked immediately without further actions or software downloads (very easy!). The sound was louder than the output from the tablet's earphone jack and noticibly clearer. To get the same level of loudness with the same program material, I had to use the Fire HD 10's volume controls and adjust them higher by a fair amount. The Auxlink Hifi Pro is a cheap and super easy way to take your Fire HD 10's sound to a higher level of quality for less than $10. To me, that's a no-brainer game changer . BTW, the listening phones I used is a set of high fidelity Audio Technica AIR ATH-AD700X open back over the ear headphones that are my go-to phones for casual to long critical listening sessions and work superbly with the Auxlink Hifi Pro audio output processor device. These are somewhat harder to drives than tiny in-ear buds, so the Auxlink Hifi Pro seems well capable of driving any reasonably sensitive earbuds, IEMs, or headphones.

I have3 used both Wired Headsets with and without microphones. They sound great. No buzzing or interference. One drawback there is no charge port built in. But the others I've bought with charge ports do not sound as good. Most have a buzzing even without charging active. I can lay my phone on a Qi Charger while I use it. I use a Samsung Galaxy S22+
