These are great, and the magnet holds very strong on metal surfaces. They are large and sturdy and hold very strongly. I had planned to use these to mount ditch lights, and I love the fact that this would make them easily removable and avoid any modification or drilling. However.... be smarter than me.... To be perfectly clear, this is NOT the product's fault, BUT.... if you are ordering these, make sure to check the exact surface of the mounting location on your vehicle. I made the mistake of assuming that the hood of my 2024 Ford Maverick was of the same metal as my roof/doors/etc, so when I didn't specifically check the hood of my truck! Guess what?... magnets won't work on the hood of my Maverick!! The magnets work great on the metal surfaces (roof, doors, fenders... every other painted surface I tried other than the hood). I can't fault the product one bit... I just share this as advice... be smarter than me! All that said, I'm keeping them as 1) they weren't too expensive, and 2) I like them enough that I'll find a way to use them elsewhere... maybe I'll do some lighting on the roof? I'll just have to find a new mounting solution for my hood! I still recommend them 5/5... just check your intended mounting surface before ordering.

It works great; the magnet is very strong, and it will not move. The build quality is very good, and being a magnetic mount makes it very easy to move and install. The price is good for what you get. One thing I will say is that because it is a magnetic mount, it makes it very easy for someone to steal.

Had no idea these existed. These are very easy to install, hold very firmly with magnets, and are very versatile. Great mounts for light bars and pods. Fit most any where and are a great value for your money. Weather proof and rust resistant. I recommend them.

The good thing about these magnets is the coating on them to protect paint or whatever surface they may be stuck to and they are fairly strong. They attach rasily to the Nilite light bar too. They can hold a 12" light bar to the ROPs of a 1025r fairly well but any bumps or movement from driving will knock them off fairly easily. You'll need stronger magnets to hold a light bar while driving.

Used to hold my Nilight small leds perfectly. I installed on my 2006 F150 in the bed / back of the truck as I wanted to be able to move the lights and have it magnetically stick anywhere on the back of the bed if I needed more light to work. Love the flexibility. I bought the Nilight led kit, used the long led bar for the front grill of the truck and the 2 small led lights for the bed of the truck. Works for what I needed.

The strength of these magnetics is very impressive! I was frankly shocked at how strong they are. I have a much much bigger magnet than this that isn't near as strong. You won't be disappointed with these. They won't come off easily. Which is just what you want.

Super strong magnets…

So this is an update from the original but I've used these magnets to mount a light bar to my hood. 120km/h and it didn't budge. Oncoming semi truck shook my hood but the magnets still held on. Very impressed.
