6 Pack - Refill Black-P900-Fine Tip Schmidt Parker Style Ballpoint Refill

These refills are an excellent choice for use in Parker-style pens. I used to use Parker brand "Quink" refills exclusive in my pens because they wrote so well. I considered them the best quality ball-point style refills for writing. Unfortunately, Parker during the recent past has begun having their refills made in India, and they have not been up to Parker's previous standards. The most recent ones had problems that ranged from intermittent skipping, to failure to write from brand new right-out-of-the package. Parker refills were always expensive when you bought them in a stationary store, but with stationary stores dying out, the Internet has become the place to buy them. Since you don't know when you order where the refills were made I decided to try the Fine Tip Schmidts. They seem to be good quality and write smoothly enough. The ink doesn't seem to have the full blackness of the original Parker Quinks, but they seem much more reliable than what Parker is now packaging. I recommend that if you have Parker style pens, give the Schmidts a try. You'll save money as well.

These refills work for me. I use them in the Bastion Executive Luxury Metal Bolt-Action Ballpoint E (which I purchased through Amazon). The reason for not using the Bastion refill is solely the price. The Bastion refills are fine but are comparatively expensive.

Ever since I started noticing the Parker Jotter refills being made in India I've noticed that the quality of the Parker Jotter ink refill has fallen significantly. I'd get a handful of skips on a page and it felt like I was riding a bike with the handbrake on (really rough). This led me on a search - EBay was full of India made refills. Forums were recommending the Schmidt P900 refill (I prefer fine point in all my pens). These finally came in the mail today and ... I'm in love with them. Not only are they German made but they stick out of the Jotter at the correct length (see photo) - unlike the French and India refills (much further recessed), but the quality of steel in these cartridges was instantly noted when I started writing - the feel of it on the paper. Ink flow is smooth - not as smooth as a French Quinkflow Jotter refill but far better than an India "Quinkflow" scratchy refill. The only negative (not worth even half a star of removal imo) is that the ink darkness is a little light but the feeling of writing, the length the cartridge sits outside of the barrel, ... I'm very happy with this refill. I have already recommended this to other people I know that are Parker Jotter fans. At 10,000 meters (writing distance) [...] - this should last a very very long time. I'm already handing these out to friends and will be buying more.

Excellent German-made pen refills! This is a precision smooth-writing tool. In my opinion, these are much better than Parker refills, which lately have lost some quality consistency. Pricing compares well to Parker, so this is a good price for higher quality. And yes, I like my phone with a stylus that can write on the screen, and my preferred communication vehicles are my phone, my computer and my pad. But I always carry a pen and a little Moleskin 2.5 X 4 notebook, as there are still times in life when nothing will work like pen and paper!

This order was filled promptly and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. I had a nice pen given to me and I love it for sentimental reasons, but the first refill I purchased was very frustrating. It seldom wrote (despite its expense) and the ink flow abruptly stopped right in the middle of words. I need a pen that responds quickly. These Schmidt, fine-tip refills were the answer. Out of the package, the first one wrote right away and has been performing fine ever since. They actually cost less than the first refill I purchased—the one that never worked. I find the Schmidt refills perfect and when this 6 pack runs out, I will buy them again!

Oh yeah! These make writing a pleasure. Lasts a very long time, writes clearly with no skips or smearing. Makes my crabbed illegible handwriting much more legible like an actual adult wrote something. I bought it as a refill for my Rotring and I am not disappointed. Will definitely buy again.

I really like these. The TiBolt is a heavy pen, but the writing action is so smooth with this refill, plus it's a fine tip which I love. Good job on these! Highly recommended!

Great product. Many of the refills have gone down in quality over the years. Schmidt has maintained their quality which is why I pay a little more for them.
