Making something out of my drill and needed this and it works perfect!

Purchased this switch to replace a worn out switch on an older KIMO cordless blower (Model: QM-6001).The switch fit perfectly in the handle but had a small FWD/REV lever above the trigger that needed to be shortened to get the housing halves to fit back together. Also had to reuse the battery contacts. After reassembly, Ops Check was better than I had expected. The variable speed switch is a very nice feature to have.

Product was good and the order came right away. It was the wrong part for a Worx tool would not fit. The dealer was good.

IT S WORKS PERFECT ON MY IMPACT WRENCH

First challenge was to unsolder then resolder the wires from the drill to the switch. Easy enough, just know that you have to do that. Not enough room inside the tool for wire nuts or added wire due to splicing.The switch, mechanically, does not directly fit the Bauer. I was going to shave a bit off the nose of the trigger to get it to fit. However, after trying out the drill with the new switch, I decided not to do so, as the drill still did not run with the new trigger switch. Directly connecting the battery to the drill motor resulted in very little motor movement and smoking hot wires! At that point, the entire unit was moved to the garbage.Just know if you are trying to fix a HF Bauer, this part does fit but will need to be shaved a little bit in order to fit properly inside the Bauer drill case. In my circumstance, however, this part was useless, as the motor is what went bad (after 10 months of ownership).
