Works well post CVA
This spoon was ordered for my father who experienced a mild CVA four months ago. While he is able to feed himself, he was removing mechanical soft food from the side of regular spoons. I had not throughly researched this spoon. When it arrived, I thought the design odd and the bowl too large. Dad has a tendency to load his spoons with too large of a bite for his dysphagia. But he readily accepted this new and different spoon. He is using it well. I do, at times, need to remind him to take smaller bites.

Perfect utensil designed for Parkinson’s patients
This is the perfect utensil for my mother who has Parkinson’s. I previously ordered the spork. This is not a weighted utensil (my preference) and the design is perfect since tremors many times prevent her from turning a traditional utensil toward her mouth successfully. Made for left or right handed.

It works
It works great just a little bigger than what I expected. My son is 8yrs old and it's a bit big for him. Would work better for an older child or an adult.

A little flimsy - not heavy
It works - my mom kept it along with another set that had more weighted handles. But it wasn't as heavy as it appears and that's important when people have the shakes.

not what i needed
This item is great. Did not come defective. I would say it can get slippery when wet. However my dad did not approve of it. He suffers from chronic arthritis. He said the utensil was too heavy to use. The concept is great but it was uncomfortable for him to use causing him low level of pain. He has been using plastic utensils but even like that he has trouble getting the food into his mouth. Its a 5 star because the spoon itself is good. Its not defective. Great concept. But what is not heavy for me is unfortunately heavy for him and that is not the manufactures fault

Disabled eating utensil
I expected a small teaspoon size. What I got was a serving spoon size. Much too big for my disabled SIL to use. It’s been sitting in a drawer unused since I bought it
