21448 Green 638 High Strength Retaining Compound, 50 mL Bottle

Used this for my motorcycle mods and it’s been rock solid. The grip strength is serious — once it sets, things aren’t moving. Perfect for press-fit or cylindrical parts. Just make sure alignment is right before it cures, because it’s not forgiving. Definitely worth it for long-term reliability

Looks like the real deal. Although when you peel the sticker back it reads "For India Only". My 242 bottle had the same and it is working like it should. This 638 is strong stuff.

Holds threads. Loctite is the top brand.

Used one time. Performs as advertised.

Bought a 50ml bottle and received a 250ml bottle, lucky me. Surprised to see it is from India but that also appears to be OK, it is not a counterfeit product. Production and expiration date was taped over, that is shady, but peeled away I see the date is well within its shelf life, it is about 18 months old and good for another 18.

Yes - from India. Worked perfect for bonding an old dirt bike (KDX200) flywheel to an abused shaft. Bike has been driven enough to instill confidence in the repair. probably used 2% on this repair.

This stuff is amazing. I first learned about it when I was doing a mechanic's apprenticeship. I use it to seal threads permanently, where I don't expect ever to have to take that part off again. I've used it in environments where there is fuel and oil and it never disappoints or leaks for me.

The product does appear to be genuine but is manufactured by Henkel India and is intended for Indian market. It is quite common practice that a company may sell good cheaper in certain countries compared to others and the seller seems to be taking advantage of this. I am happy to report that the product works well. The bottle was slightly flattened probably from the plane ride over from India (due to the pressure differential in the cargo hold). However this did not affect the product inside and has a manufacture date of June this year. It took up 0.05mm (0.002") clearance in the 10mm guide pin and holds it concentric and firm. I will verify the concentricity on my lathe with an indicator tomorrow. But it works just as well as the product from Henkel North America from my previous experience. I will happily buy more loctite products from this seller.
