Tastes good, and no weird chemicals.
While I use this product with Drinkmate carbonators and bottles, it's perfectly measured out for the 14 oz bottles (add 2 oz or half a cap to 12 oz of water) and 28 oz bottles (add 4 oz or full cap to 24 oz or water). When comparing ingredients to a regular can of soda it's the same stuff but doesn't have any of the weird teeth dissolving chemicals.

If you want that authentic store bought taste, you may have to add a bit of extra syrup to the water. I tried the "usual" fill line on the cap and it tasted ok, but a bit too watery.
