works great
I had bought the motorized crayola sharpener, which worked great for a very short bit and then quickly broke and ended up the trash. Now I really wish I had just gotten this first and saved myself a lot of money and frustration. I just got this yesterday, but it definitely works better than any crayon sharpener I've had before. I don't trim the paper, it takes care of that. I'm not sure if other people got something different, mine looks like the one in the picture, regular crayons fit great in the bigger hole, and colored pencils fit perfect in the smaller hole. This does look a little different than a regular pencil sharpener, and it handles the crayons with amazing ease. I love this!

Refreshed crayons!
We have accumulated an insane amt of crayons over the years and most of them are in great shape just flat now. Since we aren't going to school my kids don't care that they don't get a nice new box of crayons, I have sharpened some that we have and put them out in a cup for any coloring needs. The sharpener works great!!

Works well
Perfect. At times, the crayons piece get lodged at the tip, and makes sharpening difficult. Overall, it is a good design.

A great crayon sharpener
I'm teaching a k-2 class and we use crayons. I've tried several crayon sharpeners and this is my favorite. The two I got free from Crayola Corp were the worst of all I tested. Trying to teach my class children to use tools responsibly so having a sharpener that works for them without falling apart is important to me. I wish this sharpener had a hole for normal and fatter crayons.

Metal Blades
It has been difficult to find a hand held sharpener with metal blades - this one fits the bill! Sturdy, works well with pencils AND crayons, and has a screw-on lid that prevents accidental spills. Perfect!

Good product
I've been using a lot of crayons to get with my PTSD and anxiety, plus quarantine. I've been using this sharpener a lot, every day, several times a day. Still is working very well
