Not much space for wiring, otherwise works well

The good thing is it has an excellent range of set positions and as a result it operates our outside light before you’ve stepped out of the door. The design appears to have taken account of weatherproofing but I can’t comment further since I’ve only just installed it. The downside which appears to have become a universal shortcoming with all such sensors, is the lack of a sensitivity control. The housing allows for two cables to enter but the space inside is tiny and there’s no connector for earth wires. The sensor it replaced was supplied with 1mm T&E solid and T&E flex to the lamp. It had adequate space and connectors for everything. If fitting as an initial installation I would recommend making the connections in a JB out of the weather and only taking a 3 core L/N/Switched flex into this things housing. I have managed to add a bit of chocolate block for the earths and crammed everything in but there was swearing involved!

Good quality, IP65, adjustable, easy to install, works as designed. What more could you want?!?!

Bought to replace a sensor in a garden shed which failed. Relatively easy to fit (disabled), works ok, clear adjustments for time and light level. No earth terminal so if you want earth continuity to the light you’ll have to add one, there’s space for it.

I was surprised to find that the only instruction with the PIR were in German and Polish, no English. I would have thought that when selling electrical goods in the UK you would supply instructions in English. Apart from that the PIR seems ok, except that the mains cable was too thick to fit into the back of the PIR so had to remove the rubber seal from around the hole.

Simple to install, very compact, adjustable sensitivity and time.

Nice solid built unit, only in use one week and working perfectly. Only criticism I have is, there w are no instructions in English in either of the two units I bought.

PIR's don't seem to last too long, I find I need to replace them every couple of years as the weather will eventually get in. This one is a good looking design, it's one of the cheapest on the market and apart from the frustratingly fiddly grommet's it was relatively easy to install. Time will tell if it lasts any longer than any of the others I've bought in the past.

Szkoda że wcześniej nie kupiłem. Naprawdę super czujnik, nie ma co porównywać do wbudowanych w lampkę.

Détecteur vraiment très qualitatif, je m’attendais à un produit a l’aspect gadget mais ils est « lourd » et a l’air assez robuste, la cellule est orientable dans tous les sens et le reglage très facile, la notice uniquement en polonais et allemand dommage, mais il n’y a que trois fils a brancher donc tres facile, je l’ai couplé avec une guirlande led pour éclairer mon entrée resultat propre et discret pour pas cher je suis ravi, a voir dans le temps mais je ne m’inquiète pas
