Mystery House

My wife and I just finished playing this game, I got it as an activity for us to celebrate Valentine’s Day and it was a hit. We love escape rooms but it’s hard to go to them as often as we’d like and this game along with the expansion packs made it so much fun and easier to do instead of needing to leave our home. I’m sure with more people it will be just as fun. Great job on this.

This is a really fun game to play on a family night where everyone can sit around the table and play it

Very cool take on an escape room experience. Your going to want to have lots of light and mini flashlights handy, trust me. I’m looking forward to playing their other expansions soon.

We tried this game tonight and a couple riddles just don’t make sense. Also we found that the final objective card was not provided with our game. We finally got to the conclusion by clicking through the app. We did not like this game at all.

Like Exit or Unlock this is the next type of escape room style box. The set up is a bit fiddly and hope you don't put a card in the wrong place. For easier viewing we had the game placed up high so we could all view it easier and I suggest a turn table under it. A flashlight is a must. It is a bit vague what you are looking for and sometimes there are multiple elements on a card, but we had a fun time playing through. I hope to see more expansions in the future.

Reading other reviews have me cracking up because the bad reviewers missed the riddles and puzzles in the game that are wonderfully executed.

Very cool concept. I like that advantage of having it available for expansion packs. The graphics are beautifully done. Overall fun to play. The online interaction is great. Not real conducive to a group though. Best played with yourself or two people tops as you'll constantly be moving and tilting the box. Issues I had with the game: 1) Beautiful graphics but some of the clues are difficult to see, especially the deeper you get into the box. 2) Clues are weak. You have to do a lot of guessing docking you seconds each time you fail. 3) The hint system is worthless. If you're really stuck, you have to go seek help in an online walkthrough. I'd recommend this game to any skill level of Escape room enthusiasts. It is unique, but be prepared to get frustrated.

The app is horribly implemented. It could easily follow your progress and track how far along you are but it doesn't. There are many spelling errors and the mystery itself is very vague and the clues don't point to where you think they should. When the app gives you hints it will just tell you the code and even with the code its hard to understand why its the answer. One particular one mentioned lines equaling a number, for the life of me I still see no lines on this card. There are feet though and those cannot equal the number they say it is. The app needs to be redone and have some form of quality control. until then I cannot recommend this game

Il gioco è un Escape Room quindi contiene due partite che ovviamente una volta fatte rendono il gioco concluso quindi il proprietario non può far altro che diventare Game Master e far giocare altri amici se vuole quindi il costo non è così contenuto Ma nel complesso le storie sono interessanti ed è divertente giocarci quindi devo dire che sono rimasto abbastanza soddisfatto nel complesso

Super well done and fun. My expectations were zeros as I don't like games, but my adult kids do!

This game needs a companion app to play - so make sure you have a device that can do this. I've not come across anything like this before. You have to look through windows in the box itself to try and find clues and tell the app when you find something (it has a clever way of doing this). The is 2 mysteries in the box and 3 more available separately. Well worth getting.

This is a horrendous and poorly designed game. The puzzles were lacking - for example, you are supposed to combine water with a tree as plants need water. HOW THE EARTH am I supposed to know that when there are also other vines and bushes lying around? Why that specific tree needs water? Nowhere in the clues/game does it prompt us to water it. Hints in the in game app was also horrendous. There are several times after pressing the hint, it tells you to look at the next location. But THAT LOCATION IS HIDDEN BEHIND ANOTHER. Again, HOW THE EARTH did this managed to get sold? Do they even proof read it or send it for beta testing in the first place? All they had was an interesting and cool idea but they don't know how to package it into a playable game and end up this product suffers. The design team behind this - I am speechless on how they just want to make a quick buck for such a lazy product.
