The Best Grammar Workbook Ever: Grammar, Punctuation, and Word Usage for Ages 10 Through 110

My 16 year old homeschooler completed this as part of his ELA unit freshman/sophomore year. He really did find it the Best Grammar workbook ever! Simple to understand format, engaging examples, and thorough instruction. We loved it!We paired it with WriteShop for writing process instruction.

Grammar is critical to understanding the written words, especially for anyone either reading, writing, editing, or proofreading any form of text or communications, whether it's for books, magazines, newspapers, blogs, websites, thesis, school work, etc., this book is a MUST HAVE to make your reading and writing easier and better.

Both of our children are working on this book. I have found some typos. I think it's an in depth grammar book despite a few editing issues. The practice sections are short, so review is necessary.

I will be able to use all this information in my English class. Easy short lessons to work on grammar. Pretest and final test already made within the book.

I normally don't write reviews about anything but this book genuinely deserved one. I was never great at grammar but I always wanted to improve my grasp of the English language grammatically. I never could do that though because most grammar books that were provided by my school were either boring or overly complicated. However, this book literally is the best grammar book I have ever had the pleasure to open. It's engaging and I feel like I am learning. Honestly, I look forward to opening it again because the author really make this book in such a way that makes me feel like I can truly graso grammar. I am happy with my purchase and the title of this book really speaks for itself.

As homeschoolers, we always appreciate a simple, well-written book and this book makes the cut! Very easy to follow, lots of great practice sentences, well laid-out. Worth the money!

I stumbled upon this book when my 7th grader told me that Texas STAAR this year would combine writing into LA but he is confused with the questions. We used this book to review during winter break. It explains fuzzy grammar rules very well! My husband thinks he needs a copy for himself too! :)

The problem I have with it is the title. This is not a workbook. It is a book that teaches grammar concepts and then gives one or two short examples to work through. I need an entire book of grammar exercises - a workbook.*I see now after reviewing some pages, there are also errors in this book. Would not recommend at all. If you cannot even make sure you have edited your grammar book correctly, I do not trust your grammar book. It is NOT the best ever. Keep looking!
