Works perfectly. Everything came.

Malfunctioned in less than a week. Requested a refund and was told it would be honored. After returning item was told I couldn't get a refund because it was broken. Ummm... yeah that's why I asked for the refund, I was sent a broken product.

We know it’s the risk sometimes to order off Amazon, but we were so glad when my 12-year-old son opened this Nintendo switch light for his birthday. It worked amazingly and lasted forever. He still has it over a year and it plays perfectly. It’s super strong and very cost-effective for long road trips.

Do not bother purchasing this Nintendo Switch Lite. I know it's a special edition, but it does not come with the original packaging. Instead, you’ll receive a third-party charger, which may or may not work properly. I had the unfortunate issue of the SD card reader not working—it would unmount randomly, forcing the console to restart. This is terrible if you rely on sleep mode and haven't saved your game. Originally, Amazon wasn’t going to offer me a replacement because they couldn’t verify the third-party seller’s inventory. Fortunately, a kind representative helped me get one. However, I chose not to go through with it because: They are charging full price as if it were truly brand new, yet they couldn’t even bother checking the SD card reader slot, which was still dirty. I am not waiting nearly a week for a replacement when the console clearly wasn’t properly inspected in the first place. Buyer beware. I understand that it’s a special edition, but you’re better off waiting for the Switch 2 to release.

It turns on and the buttons work, so I guess that’s good. But I purchased this as renewed in excellent condition, which per Amazon means the screen has no scratches. The screen on this one has MANY scratches, though. Most are shallow, but they’re definitely unmistakably visible, and some are so large they cross more than half the screen. And they’re all over the screen in different directions, and it did arrive well wrapped in the box, so I don’t think this happened during shipping. Then there’s also a tiny deeper scratch along the bottom edge, only a few millimeters long, but deep enough I almost want to call this a small crack. And the icing on the cake is, the charger doesn’t work either! I swapped and tested the charger with my phone and my phone charger with the switch to confirm, along with using a few different outlets in my house, and the problem is definitely the charger. I’m nervous attempting this again just to end up in the same place and I also really just want to play it already, so I’m returning it and paid a bit more to get it brand new. Charging above the price of a new switch lite for a device in this condition is insane, though, even for a limited edition color — it’s not THAT sought after to warrant this. I’ve ordered a few renewed iPhones/iPads in the past with no issues from other sellers, but this has completely soured my experience with Amazon renewed products.
