This worked out great for creating rubberized "boots" on metal table legs. It took something like 15 coats to build up the thickness, but eventually it got there and now the metal won't be directly on the stone tiles. I was also able to "level" the table to compensate for tile unevenness by dipping the appropriate legs more than other legs. Based on other reviews, I don't expect the rest of unused can to remain liquid until I find something else to dip later. Oh well.

I used mine to make shelf pins out of nails. I've always had bad luck with shelf pins, and I'm making a big bookcase for my basement. But my wife insists on having adjustable shelves, so I wanted really sturdy shelf pins, like I couldn't find anywhere. I just drilled holes in my bookcase walls to just accept 16 penny nails without too much play, and dipped the heads (with part ground off to let the shelf sit). The Plasti-Dip makes them look nice, if anyone does actually see them. And I used black, which makes it kind of hard to see on the already-dark underside of a shelf. Works like a charm, and there's no way these shelves will collapse.

Gives new life to my 30 year old hand tools. Great product!

Good product. It has been used to repair PVC and rubber coating on certain tools, nicks and punctures on electrical cable jackets, and to insulate electrical components during electronic manufacturing. As of today, this product can be purchased at Home Depot for six to seven dollars less. The dip can is good for long handled tools. The amount is good for coating several things once or multiple times. However, the snap on lid is inadequate for keeping the product from drying out over time. If you need a small amount for coating or dipping things , I recommend Gardner Bender Liquid Tape 4 oz bottle. It has a screw on cap with application brush. Product has been stored on a shelf at work for over two years and has not dried out.

Used it to repair legs on Costa sunglasses. Worked great at a fraction of the price of replacement leg inserts from the factory!

I bought this to coat metal handles that got very cold in the winter. I gave them multiple coats to maximize the insulating effect and it worked great. It's much easier to use now and the coating even remains flexible in the cold!
