Great berries!
Really good berries that seem to be really fresh. When I grind them into flour in my Blendtec there's moisture which I take to mean there's still life in the kernels. The bread I make tastes better than any other spelt flour I've used. The only thing is I guess because it's so fresh it doesn't hold a rise well. I've yet to figure out how to keep it from falling slightly in the oven.

Great for healthy breakfast
Makes great morning cereal. Soak over night in a crockpot & have it start cooking about 4:00 AM. Add some barley & another grain too. This was grain was clean & delicious

A Great Addition to Home Made Bread - Grinding Required.
Well packaged but I should have purchased more. Clean, dry kernels. Grinds well. I use with other spelt that is ultra finely ground, grind this coarsely and makes incredible ancient grain bread.

Good Grain
I never tried spelt before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Turned out to be another good product by Yupik. It doesn't have much flavor, but that makes it versatile. Spelt is loaded with nutrition. I did find I liked them best if first rinsed then soaked overnight. That also made them faster to cook. The kernels were clean; there wasn't much dust at all. Overall, a good quality grain with value pricing.

Parrots love it!
This is part of my seed mix I give to my parrots for breakfast. I soak these, and sprout these for my 7 parrots. They love these a lot :D

Good flavor and only 1 husk in the bag
Spelt is a stickier grain than I am used to so will take me a bit to get the recipe right. Only found 1 husk in the whole bag. Good flavor. I hear that spelt is easier on people with gluten issues (not celiac, though).
