Tape Original Black, Improved Formula High Strength Waterproof Gaffer and Duct Adhesive Cloth Repair Tape 50mm x 5m

Absolutely PERFECT, I mean, just phenomenal!.. Exactly what I needed - not too thick or 'loud'/prominent like the traditional duct tape (which is NOT suitable for my need), but instead a nice, semi-thin, bone-white(?), or cream, that blends well with my window + adjacent/surrounding décor... I actually purchased this to re-install my bug netting (like a fibreglass mesh) that is essentially just a bug-screen for your windows, as I NEED to keep my windows open 24/7, but there's an abundance of flies (a plethora of species) that frequent my home whenever the window is open! I initially just had these knock-off command strips that were okay to begin with, but after a few months, became obsolete, just useless, poor adhesion to the mesh, but great for everything else... I then started using copious amounts of clear tape in multitudes of layers that then would eventually become ineffective; I even tried superglue, which did NOT work (I used 5 bottles and tried to build foundations by layering thick globules through the mesh, kind-of like concrete, but to no avail!). So my last resort was to just use industrial-strength tape to adhere the mesh indefinitely (until purposeful intervention) and thus found this product to fit the description of my necessity... And I am extremely satisfied with the efficacy of this tape - it really does work so well (and I don't have to layer it!), only needs a single length per side, but I made sure to use smaller segments for the bottom-left, in order to be able to remove it, if necessary, so I can use something to push the window back open again (when a strong wind blows it shut). It's very slick on the exterior, shiny, if you will, and is very easy to manipulate into the desired crevices as it's pretty thin - you just need to be careful and take your time to smooth it out while keeping adequate tension when applying it - nothing worse than a crease/s or a folded piece, even a mis-stick(?). Incredibly satisfactory results - I am happy with this tape and will definitely be using it for various other applications in the future! I got the 25m roll which was only £1 or two more than the 5m roll, I believe(?).; it fits in Great value. It is 100%, without a doubt completely waterproof, it fits ANYWHERE and on practically any surface - with a strong bond, plus, it can be layered without bulking-up or becoming an eye-sore & has the ability to be repaired via re-applying more on top (if necessary).

The ‘white’ tape is more of a cream colour than white, but seems strong, sticks well, and it’s useful for mending and sticking to white surfaces - I’m using it to fix a split in the tumble dryer vent and it’s holding up well even in the damp environment. The 5m roll is quite short obviously, and longer rolls are better value, but I’m pleased with the quality. The tape is easy to peel and cut, unlike some cheaper unbranded tape.

Not a Bad Tape, does the job.

Inexpensive and works like it should. I used it to repair the rubber lining on my washing machine since there is some leaks coming out from a hole and the tape sticked after multiple rounds of washing.

Good product as expected. Not a lot of tape but enough for what I wanted.

Recently bought this Duck Tape (50mm x 50m, white) for a couple of small emergency jobs around the house and it genuinely impressed me. We had a minor drip starting on a radiator joint and I needed a temporary seal until I could properly repair it. This tape held securely and didn’t peel back, even with slight warmth from the radiator. Obviously not a permanent plumbing fix, but it did exactly what I needed in the moment. I also used it to protect a freshly filled and painted door kick plate while we were getting heavy rain and foot traffic. It adhered well to the surface without lifting and removed cleanly afterwards. For general household repairs, weather protection, or temporary fixes, it’s a solid option to have in the toolbox, would buy again

Be wary of the length - this is a tiny roll of tape. It's 5m. The standard length of a roll of duct tape is 50m, so it's a 10th of the size. I guess charging £5 for it is to pay for the prime delivery. My mistake - ordered in a hurry and didn't check the length. The photos on the page are misleading. The first pic does show the very small/thin roll. But the rest of them show much longer/thicker rolls. Save yourself ££££s and get something similar from the pound shop. To top it all, the tape isn't very good. It rips in the wrong direction when handling. Have edited this review since using the tape.

Eén van de beste plakband tot nu toe. Heel sterk. Ook met water. Scheurt heel makkelijk af wat ook superhandig is (doet niks aan de sterkte).

If you are in need of Band-aid the original Band-aid or any similar works bettr then this Duck-tape NEVER AGAIN i will waste my money on totally useless product.
