Coffee - Medium-Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - Espresso Roast (2 lb bag)

I tried this coffee at my son's house and loved it. I bought the pod version first and loved the coffee but had to cut open each one to use in my french press. I'm so happy to have found the beans. There's a lot of coffee beans for the cost.....good value. It's not so dark that it tastes too strong but dark enough of a roast to have a very nice finish and warmth from the beans. Will buy more and more and more.

This is good coffee bean to grind at home should you want to enjoy for an espresso or cappuccino. Personally when I opened the bag I thought the beans smelled awesome. These roasted beans are a bit oily and present a nice crema, and are not bitter in my opinion. Actually I ordered 32 ounces in February '13 and am placing my second order now in July '13. I have 2 - 3 large cappuccinos per week as a nice treat. These have a fair amount of caffeine so be prepared for the morning BUZZ to jolt you to action. Prepare for take off! Yes, these are not the very best espresso beans you can buy. If you want to spend 60% -80% more for a better bean, sure go for it. I am not a coffee snob and don't need to impress anyone and have had good espresso on four continents from a variety of methods and these are 'very good'. On a scale of 1 to 5 for value I give them a 5. Based on other Amazon prices or going to Rogers Coffee direct this is a solid deal. On a scale of 1 to 5 on taste they are a solid 4. Way better than Starbucks IF you like a solid espresso flavor that is not bitter, but medium strong, nice finish. So being conservative and to control other's expectations I will score Pete's Espresso from Rogers Coffee a solid 4 overall.

Very impressive aroma and taste. Full-bodied flavor, silky finish, and completely void of bitterness. So good. I expected to pay more for this quality. The espresso blend is particularly a favorite of mine from other brands, so I tried the SF Bay's out and I'm glad I did. Slightly sweet, hits the right notes that I like in espresso and dark coffees WITHOUT being too much or a heavy kind of taste. I've really enjoyed this Espresso Blend whole bean and it makes me want to try other blends or roasts in the SF Bay lineup.

I have a super espresso machine and I've tried so many brands of coffee beans and none are as good as this. I like my coffee very dark and very bold and this is perfect. If you like Starbucks Espresso Bean roast coffee you'll love this!

I’ve been using Lavazza for a while now and it’s becoming bitter and the dates are way too close for comfort. Doesn’t taste good at all! Not sure what they’re doing. But after watching the videos as to how San Francisco Bay Coffee Co makes and roasts their coffee beans I had to try it. Very glad I did! The taste is amazing and it goes to a good cause. Very happy with my purchase 😁
