My wife uses this top coat and really likes it. It dries very fast and leaves the nails with a smooth, glossy finish. It also helps the polish last longer without chipping. Definitely a good product to have if you do your nails at home.

I have been reading about this brand of topcoat for so long now. I do not know why I never bought it until recently. I think maybe the price had something to do with it. After all I thought it was just clear nail polish and I can get that at the dollar store. Am I glad that I finally took the plunge and bought a bottle. I am not what they call someone who spends a lot of time on "cuticle care" (Pitch Perfect reference *high5*) I keep my nail shorts because they tend to chip & break easily if I do not. I love nail polish colors, God knows I have plenty of them. Just recently I got my first "gel mani", boy, was I ever impressed. It was awesome. The color I chose was a beautiful green color that resembled something you'd see on a tropical island, it was so shiny and strong. I went swimming, playing in the sand, playing in the ocean, doing all kinds of outdoorsy stuff on my vacation, and not one chip was to be seen. In fact it was not until the 12th or 13th day that I noticed the color was coming off from the bottom up, noticed the top down. Which is what I like. Back to SECHE VITE DRY FAST TOP COAT: when I am not doing a gel manicure (which is always) I like my normal polish manicure (with a little bit of nail art on ring fingers to make me feel pretty) to last as long as humanly possible. Not only does this topcoat make my polish last days longer, it also makes my nails incredibly shiny, and it is helping them to grow stronger and longer. I am using a vitamin filled base coat to help my nails grow strong (Orly), I use a coat of this on top of the base coat, then I put my color , then I use this as my topcoat/quick dry, and I let it dry for about 20 minutes before I do anything. I have found that quick dry topcoats, quick dry sprays and drops, etc. Are not really quick dry at all. In fact when you try to use your nails too quickly after applying the quick dry topcoat, you will find smudges/ridges, and your nails become messy. I believe it helps the polish to dry a couple of minutes faster, but not immediately. The quick dry labeling lulls you into a false sense of security. I am sure many of us out there have used a quick dry product only to end up having to redo our nails. To wrap it up I think that this product is outstanding. I can see what all of the hype is about, and I'm still not sure whether it is worth the price, but I believe it is money well spent, for me anyways. I found that this product has done what it says it will do. Except for the quick dry thing. I believe it dries nails quicker, but not the quickest. Or completely. I like using this polish on top of my base coat. There are times when I want to go polish free, but I like to use the vitamin enriched base coat to strengthen and lengthen my brittle nails. This topcoat not only enhances the vitamin base coat it also adds a beautiful shine.

Lives up to the hype and then some! I used as directed: applying a generous amount to each not quite dry nail. Dried super quickly and nice and hard. Unlike other “hardeners” it lasts days and did not peel when showering or washing my hair. Picture shows 10 days old. Be aware that it does smell like airplane glue when applying. No scent when dry. I have had trouble with nails breaking, but not lately! Excellent product! A+

I finally caved and tried Seche Vite after hearing about it for years—and now I get the hype. This top coat dries fast. I’m talking “wait, is this dry already?” fast. It leaves a gorgeous glassy finish that makes my nails look professionally done, even when I know I was painting them while binge-watching TV in questionable lighting. I use gel polish for press-ons and regular polish for toes and this works like magic over both (just be careful with gel—it’s not a UV top coat, so it’s best for layering over regular polish or fully cured gel). Now, why 4 stars? Two reasons: Shrinkage – If your base color isn’t fully dry, this can sometimes pull it back from the edges. I learned the hard way—so now I wait a little longer before applying it, and that helps. Smell – Oof. It is potent. Definitely open a window or turn on a fan unless you like feeling like you're back in a 2003 nail salon. That said, I still plan to keep this in my nail kit. It’s perfect for those last-minute polish jobs when I need to get out the door and don’t want to smudge a single thing. Just handle it with care, give your base coat time, and ventilate your space—you’ll love the results!

This Top Coat is awesome! Makes your nails after polish look so good!! Totally recommend this one and really speeds up the drying process. I've used 2 sometime 3 coats!

I love this product! I buy it as soon as I run out, and will probably be the only top coat I ever use. I hate waiting for my nails to dry after painting them. This cuts the time down a lot and I am able to go about my day much sooner. It does get thick in the bottle pretty fast, but they do make restoring drops and I use those and it is good as new.

Very quick drying for use as a top coat !

This is very good, however when the bottle gets about half way - it becomes very thick and difficult to apply and can damage the polish under. So it’s good, but only till around half way - Unable to finish the product
