DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Boston

I am a teacher, I love DK books, so I bought this just because it was published by DK. It did not disappoint. Good recommendations of what to do in each neighborhood. Good maps and map drawings with interesting detail captions. I would buy this again

Loved the plastic coated map included with the guide book. It had a detail of Cambridge and of course the Metro system known as the T. I always purchase DK Eyewitness for their drawings of museums and other features. I don't rely much on the restaurant recommendations because it is so hard to keep current on places that come in and out of business so frequently. Could try to add some more mid priced restaurants rather than emphasizing the more expensive ones.

This book is chock full of information about Boston, A great book to have if you are planning to visit Boston.Also the book is filled with great pictures (photos as well as graphics.)The best thing in this book was the info about the Charlie card subway pass and getting a discount riding the subways.So that alone made it worthwhile to get this book.

Succinct, helpful guide. The subway transit map is a plus! We are glad we had it with us even in this digital world we live in. Books don't run out of battery!

Brought this before my trip to Boston. Its was a good guide and the map of the MBTA was helpful. I will definitely go on another trip Boston in a few years and this will be in my back pocket.

This book helped me plan my time around Boston and the pull out map proved to be very helpful. We used the downtown and train map. I will take the book with me again when I go to visit my daughter.

This book helped me plan a wonderful week in Boston- helped me pick and choose which museum, historic sites and restaurants that I knew I'd enjoy. Great maps too.

Good book for use as a tourist in town for a few days or a few weeks. Interesting details and easy to follow maps.
