GREAT Wireless Car Charger for Qi-enabled Phones
I've been using car mounts for my phone for over a decade AND have tried several charging mounts. I thought it was great when "wireless" chargers appeared on the market (note: all wireless chargers, including this one, require that you run a wire from the port on your dash to the device). I've had 2 Qi-enabled chargers for phones, both of which charged slowly and inefficiently. They were fine for a 2-4 hour road trip but often I found my phone half-charged even after spending long times on the charger. This CTYBB Qi Auto-Clamping Air Vent Dashboard Car Phone Holder is exceptionally useful and is a great charger over all. I'm using it as a dashboard mounted charger rather than mounting on the air vent (although both are options) largely because of the weight of my phone (a Samsung Galaxy S10+). The dashboard mount makes the phone easy to view and use (although not while driving, of course) and the charger works to bring my phone to a full charge as quickly as the Qi charger on my bedside table. Another great feature of this item is the quick connect and release. To put the phone in the mount you simply ... put the phone in the mount. The clamps open automatically and quickly hold the phone (even a heavy phone like mine). Releasing the phone is equally easy. Place your fingers around the phone mount as though you were taking the phone and the mount opens automatically so the phone pops right into your hand. The mount comes in several colors (I got the neutral silver) so you have choices there as well. AND the price is also great.I recommend this phone mount/charger to anyone who wants convenience and quick charging. 5 STARS for this device.

Great build quality, ease of use, and price for this wireless charging unit.
I just received this wireless charging unit. Out of the box I was impressed by build quality and heft to unit. The installation process was straight forward. My Samsung Galaxy S8, in an aftermarket case, fit into device securing arms without incident. The device closes with a noticeable small motor whir. The included 12 volt adapter works well, lights up, and has a second plug for another device. I maneuvered the unit with my phone engaged in device. There are two release buttons on either side of unit. My only issue would be the sensitivity of release buttons. You will quickly learn to adjust device arm while avoiding release buttons. I'm impressed with build, mounting options, ease of use, and cost. Time will tell on longevity of device motor. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Works - not w/ popsocket - but works!
I bought this wireless car charger based off reviews and reading that it WOULD work with my iPhone 11 in a case. I had another brand that worked like a charm until I upgraded phones and it no longer fit in the arms. This one does open large enough to hold my iPhone 11 in an OtterPop case. Which is not insulated bulky. I have not got it to charge with the popsocket attached (booo, almost returned it for this, because my other one did, with the same exact case) but I can take off the popsocket to put it in the car charger and it charges just fine in the case. Biggest thing Is that it holds the case.My least favorite thing about this one though, is the position of the release button. It’s on the bottom right, as you look at it. Which most people are right handed so if you reach up and grab the phone/charger to use the screen, I always always always am touching the release button and it Opens on me. I wish the button were on the other side. Or that it was on both sides so I could cover the one that keeps getting touched. It is super annoying for me (and removing the popsocket to charge- ONLY since my last one did not require that step). But since I can still use it in the case and it does charge as I need. It’s fine. And it works. And I’ll figure out something for this release button issue. But the design team should move that button. I’m giving it 5 stars because it DOES do what it says. Which is to charge in the car. And with most cases (my case included. Just sans popsocket).

Air vent connection useless
The charger kept falling out of the air vent when I was driving which was totally infuriating and very distracting. I sent it back.

Decent charger but won’t buy again
I’ve had this since Feb 2020. For around six months it’s been excellent. Charges my iPhone 11 Pro well through my Otterbox case, never any issues. The automatic open and close was working flawlessly and the air vent mount mostly without issue.However, the in the couple months the air vent mount clip has bent out of shape and the arms to open and close have noticeably slowed. It feels like the unit is deteriorating. For the price I had hoped it to last 12 months at least but this was 8-10 months at best.Decent charger but I won’t buy it again.
