Very happy.
Easy to pop on and quiet the racket of the hitch bars when pulling the trailer.

These make towing much quieter!
Since we bought our camper last year, we've turned heads every time we've entered a campground. But for all the wrong reasons. Our Equal-i-zer hitch popped, creaked, and groaned every time we hit a bump or made a sharp turn. As we drove through the campground to our site, everyone we passed stopped what they were doing to see what was causing all the noise. My initial research (both online and in talking to other campers) implied that the noise is normal, and is a by-product of the weight-distribution and sway control features of the Equal-i-zer hitch. But all that noise sounded anything but normal, so I kept looking for a solution to this noisy problem. Finally I found mention of the Equal-i-zer Sway Bracket Jackets. These fit over the brackets where the sway tension bars rest. The friction of the sway tension bars against the bracket helps reduce sway as you are towing your trailer. Before installing the jackets, the friction was metal on metal, so this produced a lot of the noise I was hearing. After installing the jackets, the friction is now metal on nylon, which is much quieter. When towing with the jackets installed, I noticed absolutely no reduction in sway control. The only thing I noticed is that towing my camper is now a much, much quieter experience! This past weekend when we drove through the campground, no one even noticed we were there. Unfortunately I can't in all honesty give full credit to the Sway Bracket Jackets for quieting my hitch. I also purchased Equal-i-zer's hitch lubricant, and applied that to the ball, hitch head, and tops and bottoms of the sway tension bar sockets. While I'm sure that the bracket jackets alone will reduce the noise your hitch may be making, I don't think they will eliminate all the pops and creaks. You'll need the lubricant as well. However, I still consider this a great product and a great purchase, and I would without hesitation buy them again if needed.

This thing works!
I was doubtful that it would stop the scratching that was going on, but it did! It worked great! I would highly recommend it. Pulling a trailer with anti-sway bars is very worry sum. And this stoops the noise.Would buy it again at this price, which is well worth the price! Will buy more than one set.

Reduces noise significantly, definitely worth a buy!
I love my recently acquired Equal-i-zer hitch, but it was making a bit of racket pulling through the campground at slow speeds. These helped reduce the noise tremendously! I still get some noise occasionally, but no where near as much. Definitely worth the investment. Installation is simple and takes less than 15 seconds total (they just slide on easily). My hitch setup still performed fantastically, there appears to be zero effect on how it works and performs. If you have an Equal-i-zer sway control system, get these and enjoy a significantly quieter trip!

Solves embarrassing and loud hitch sounds
The first time my wife and I pulled away from the. Airstream dealer with our 25FB International we heard gun shots and loud bangs. We thought something disastrous just happened. Turned out it was the spring bars on the Fastway hitch doing what they do, distribute weight and reduce sway. But no one mentioned they would also sound like your bumper just got ripped off. These jackets have solved that embarrassing problem and so far I can not tell any difference in the sway control. These are a most have option if you have the Equalizer or Fastway hitches period!

They do work
So-they do work on my Equal-i-zer hitch system. I tow a smaller (21ft/4000lb) camper. But-when properly aligned, they fit well and seem to reduce the slapping/grinding/popping noises of camper movement. If the noise really concerns you when backing up multiple times and angles into the perfect spot, might be best to remove the Equal-i-zer's stabilizer bars. That helps. But-I've left these spacers in place and they haven't been torn up, destroyed or damaged. Been in use for over a year, more than 3-months on the road for the summer camping trip.

Bought a new camper in April and took it on ...
Bought a new camper in April and took it on a 1200 mile round trip on Memorial Day weekend. I was fully prepared for the groaning and popping sounds from the hitch, but the ear piercing screeches were quite embarrassing when stopping for gas or pulling in and out of the campground. The one time I DON'T want every soul watching me is when I'm trying to maneuver. Read the reviews and I was hopeful that these would provide some relief. These exceeded my expectations. There is still and occasional groan from the hitch, but I would say the sound now is acceptable and even expected from the friction system. I will add that I did buy the Equalizer lube and applied that to the ball and sockets at the same time, so the jackets may not get credit for the entire sound reduction. I agree with other users that for 800 dollars these should come with the hitch, but that is an issue with equalizer and should impact the score of the product.
