Great value and excellent customer service.
This camera works great and it's a great value. I have a tall truck and when it's loaded for overnight trail runs like the Rubicon, I can't see anything out the rearview mirror. I decided I needed a backup camera. I liked that this setup is all wired so there's no question the connection will work. It was also easier to hookup having the power coming from a cigarette lighter socket.I have it on all the time when I'm driving so that it functions like a rearview mirror. It's a real trip seeing behind you as you're driving down the highway. It's nice to be able to see vehicles coming up behind you even when they're not visible in the side mirrors. The image quality is very good.I did have a problem with the camera after more than a year of use and when I contacted the company via email, they responded quickly and took care of my problem promptly. They even checked back with me a couple of months later to make sure it was still functioning to my satisfaction. I was really impressed by that. I've been using this system for nearly 2 years now and I'm completely satisfied.

Excellent
Works great. Parking lines can be turned off which is what I wanted, as well it’ll run with 24v and there’s a wire included for that. Nice and bright and clear. I tried it with a Ryobi 18v tool battery and that’s what I’ll be using for my bike rear view mirror. Customer support is very responsive, and I think it’s a very good buy.

7" and the camera FAR superior to the 4.3" and its camera
The 7" package is a great value, though there are some quirks and quality control issues (not unexpected at that price point).I had purchased the 4.3" system first, thinking that my 2005 Tahoe would better accommodate the screen where I wanted it to go (between the two 12V power outlets in the dash). It fit there fine, but the screen was quite small and the resolution of the camera poor. What really caused me to reconsider was the underwhelming low light visibility (nightvision) of that camera, which claimed to be sensitive to 0.1 Lux. The white LEDs on it blew out the trailer hitch and darkened the surrounding field of view. I didn't want to cut the white wire to find out if that made things any better until I had a chance to see the 7" system side-by-side. I'm glad I did.The 7" screen is larger, obviously, and it fit snugly between the two 12V chargers just perfect to be held there without the base and rest on the dash lip. The camera was also far superior to the 4.3" system. The thin metal bracket mounting behind the plate makes the installation more tidy, neat, and OEM-like as compared to the bulky plastic front-mount only 4.3" camera. The only thing hanging over the plate is the camera itself for the 7" system. What was also interesting was that the camera from the 4.3" was not compatible with the cable or display of the 7" screen (I had tried to plug in the 7" camera to the 4.3" wire+display to no avail. So too with the charger. It seems nothing is interchangeable between those systems despite having the same physical wiring harnesses.I tested the two systems side-by-side and you can really tell the difference in person on the image quality. I have not yet had a chance to test out the new 7" package's camera at night, but hope it lives up to the technical specification (also 0.1 Lux). It looks like there are also IR LEDs? They don't light up when the camera is activated, and there's no "string" (cable) to cut to permanently turn them off (unlike the 4.3" system). The image rotation and inversion are all done on the screen itself, and bizarrely, that also mirrors/inverts the menus! Probably the result of cheap electronics inside that don't process the image but rather just reverse everything sent to the LCD screen.I also really like the adjustability of the backup lines on the screen. That makes it more accurate visually to approximate the vehicle's width (which is significant for an older GM product), as well as account for a bumper, and push the lines up the screen some.Next, the documentation was clear enough and says there's a 24-month warranty and replacement policy. In the end, based on what appears to be progressive product improvement together with a commitment to customer support, I'm pleasantly surprised at the offering from a foreign company to rise to domestic consumer expectations.

Good buy
I purchased this for my 2008 Ford Explorer. It has been installed for about a month now and is working fine. I give it a five star rating based on the combination of price, quality, and customer support. it works, and the color image is clear. It does the job and I feel much more confident when backing.Just a few observations. First, the instructions do not explain how to hook it up if you want to connect to your reverse lights to have it on it come on when backing up. It DOES include the wiring for that. I contacted customer support and they were quick to respond. Once I figured that out, it just took me about 90 minutes to complete instillation. Taking the panel off my back hatch door to complete the wiring was the most difficult part. The surface of my dashboard would not accommodate the suction cup, And I did not want to mountain on my windshield. But there is a small, recessed tray in the dashboard above the stereo with a smooth flat surface. I used the mounting bracket and attached it to that surface with Velcro. It also takes three or four seconds for the image to appear once the car is placed in reverse. A minor inconvenience. And initially, for just a brief moment, a stock image appears before the camera image. But for $40, I think it is a good deal. I don’t know how you can manufacture a color camera, color monitor, and wiring, then package and ship it for that amount. So again, the 5 star review considers all of these factors.FOLLOW UP: Six months later and it is still working very well. The image is better than the factory installed camera in my wife's six year old Honda Odyssey.
