These are functional sights for a spare gun
I built a couple spare rifles with red dots and also wanted backup irons. I bought this set and another fixed set at same time. Zeroed the rifle today. It went well and I had no issues with initial hits or getting to zero. Out of box they were low but only 2 inch off to left. Quick adjustments and neither the front or rear had to be pushed to an extreme. Flipping the sights up/down did not result in a detectable POI. Switching from large to small aperture did result in a shift of 3" left at 100yds but same elevation. The results were repeatable swapping back and forth so I'm not concerned. You're getting a set of sights for a very cheap price. The bodies are glass impregnated injection molded plastic. They are very rigid. The one item I would point out to those mounting these sights is you should slightly wiggle the sight front to back (of the rifle) as you tension the Allen. If you do not do this the sight may clamp slightly crooked and give you zeroing issues. This is not solely and issue with this set, this applies to all polymer sights including Magpuls. I'm sure some who have bought these have struggled to zero if they are just slapping them on and reefing them down.

Great sights, fully adjustable for height and side to side.
I love these and have them installed on my AR's picatinny rail. Instructions and description seem a bit hazy, so here is what I found. They are adjustable for both height and side to side. The front sight is adjusted for height. It is tricky to adjust and the notched ring for the sight blade is indeed some form of plastic so you can ruin it if you try to force the notched ring to turn while the ring is locked. There is a spring loaded pin that locks the notched ring to keep from turning. You have to fully depress (downward) the spring loaded pin using a jeweler's screwdriver or other stiff device so that the pin is fully disengaged from the notched ring, then turn the ring CW to lower the ring/blade, or CCW to raise it. Then release the pin to re-engage a notch on the ring. With a laser boresight chambered, I only had to rotate the notched ring about 1.5 turns to lower and align it perfectly. The rear sight adjusts side to side, simply by turning the grooved thumbwheel through several clicks to get it aligned. The rear sight aperature/hole can also be rotated into one of two modes, one with a very small hole for precision, or by using the larger hole if preferred. Both sights snap lock down when not in use, then pop up when you press the release pin at the bottom of each sight. Since the sights are offset I don't really need to fold them down as they do not obstruct the scope in either position, but the fold-down feature is still nice to have. Good luck and happy shooting!

Perfect 👍🏻
Perfect, just what I needed to replace my previous flip-up side sights. I found out that these 45 degree side sights for the rail are not completely infallible; my previous rear sight flip-up mechanism broke, so, this is a good replacement. It's always a good idea to have a Plan B redundant backup for items like this anyway. I'm good to go now 👍🏻 One thing to keep in mind, is that this product comes from China. So, just a data point to think about 🤔.

I wanted these to work so bad, and they are useable but...
Running a red dot sight along with a magnifier takes up a lot of the rail on my AR-15. I wanted to find a solution to some backup sights that wouldn't break the bank and decided to try these offset sights. First thing I noticed is they seemed relatively cheaply made (which can be expected for the price). What I didn't expect is just how bad they actually were until I mounted them and took them to the range. Pros: - Inexpensive (also knowns as CHEAP) - Very easy to install - Lightweight Cons: - The release and close mechanism is stiff and not something I would trust in a 'need it quickly' type of situation. - They DO NOT hold a zero. I spent time sighting these in, only to noticed they were way off again the next time I flipped them up the second day on the range. A failure any way you look at it. They were NOT removed from the rail, only flipped back down and up again. - I can't say they would stand up to any kind of real 'bump' or impact. I cannot recommend these to anyone, for any reason, unless you are sticking them on a airsoft gun where your life will NEVER rely on them. This is just an item you shouldn't try and skimp on I guess. Buy a quality set of sights ONCE and don't look back.

Great product for the money!
Purchased several. These would not be my first choice for going to war due to the plastic construction, however, for the money, they are great and quite durable. I use small cable ties to lock the rear sight in either the short or long range setting as it seems like it might not for sure stay on the desired setting without the ties. Cost effective back-up.

Not Tan
These are great, easy to setup and use. I like that they fold down when not in use. They are spring loaded, just push the button and they pop up when needed. The only complaint I have and it's minor was they were listed as tan but I received black. In their defense the picture shows black. This is my first pair of offset sights so I'm no expert but they seem solid. I would probably buy them again.
