Retro. Functional. Perfect
One day I decided I didn't want my phone by my bedside anymore so I got this analogue alarm clock and never looked back. I love this thing. Great value for the money.

Used item for new prices!!!
Was ordered for one day delivery and arrived late! When package opened the product was a used item! The cord was wrapped around the clock and plastic was wadded up in the bottom of the box. And to my surprise there was a piece of popcorn in the bottom of the box with the wadded up plastic!! Will be throwing away due to a huge hassle to return!!! I don't need my blood pressure going up any higher!!!

Awesome lil alarm clock!
I love this alarm clock. It's exactly what I was looking for ... it's the perfect size for my night table. Yes, the numbers are bright but I sleep sideways on a king-size bed and all I have to do is slightly tip my head and I can read them. I'm planning to buy a second one for my other night table. It all comes down to personal preference ...

Old style aesthetics without old-style robustness or industrial design
I purchased this as I wanted a small, digital clock that could be placed on a shelf and read across the room. As I only needed a basic, robust clock I wanted a old-style unit that would last. As this is a "name-brand" and appeared in the ad to match what I had in mind I got it. It's not quite what I expected. It's lightweight, and feels a bit flimsy. I'm not using the alarm but the switch feels cheap, the buttons are fine. It uses a AA battery and not a 9V for battery backup, and the fit of the door was poor. It is *BRIGHT*, the other reviews about that are spot-on. I noticed it humming this morning, the transformer is visible through vents on the bottom and is of clearly cheap construction.Basically this clock is value-engineered to the minimum and is not as robust as it's ancestors. I don't expect it to last. Way too bright for a bedroom, I even think it's too bright for my living room. The cost is too high for this level of value-engineering.Apparently the Westclox factory burned down in 2012. Pay no attention to the name, the name you remember died over 10 years ago.

Alarm clock
Great little clock but the alarm isn't loud enough for me.

Clock is compact; just what I was looking for.
Great little clock; doesn't take up much space; only wish it had a dimmer switch!

Not the clock you were looking for.
Remember the clock from the 70s and 80s that would wake you up. This is not it. Cheap plastic, quiet, super bright with no dimming settings. The good thing is it takes a battery just in case you lose power. Haven't tested that feature but I wanted that clock that woke me up the first time.

I don't think the alarm is laud enough or synchronize to the right time.
