Actually works
Based on some of the reviews here I was a little skeptical of this tool, but I was tired of driving with a murky/slimy/grimy windshield that seemed impossible to clean using the traditional cloth-and-Windex method. I dreaded every time I attempted to clean my windshield, the contorted positions, the always-unreachable bottom of the windshield where it meets the dashboard, and the inevitable streaky result which made my wonder why I should even bother. I knew there were tools for this and I picked this one, because it seemed to be the least sucky of the bunch. Well, to cut a long story short, it worked in spades. It comes with 3 "socks", a microfiber (to wipe off after cleaning, I assume), a "rubbing" cloth (to clean), and a mesh thing (I don't know what for). The instructions say to spray cleaning fluid (I used some automotive glass cleaner akin to Windex) directly on the windshield and then rub it with the tool, but for my car (Subaru Outback with EyeSight) I can't spray anything directly on the windshield (Subaru fanbois know why) so I just equipped the rubbing sock on the tool (it's a little awkward stretching it so tightly to fit over the triangular head of the tool) and then sprayed liquid on the cloth. Then I went to work and, thanks to the shape of this tool, it reached easily into all the recesses and corners of the windshield. The thing also has a large surface so it covers a lot of area quickly. After a quick rubdown I switched to the microfiber cloth and wiped the glass dry. That was it. Once more I had an actual transparent windshield, as opposed to the translucent one I've been driving for the past few months, and it took me half the time as the "traditional" method. As for those claiming it breaks easily and/or it's flimsy, I don't see how. Granted, I only used it once, but even though it's all plastic, it's very solid and thick plastic, so I don't know how you managed to break it. Oh, and someone was complaining about the hinge. I think that's one of the best features. It allows the head to rotate in any position, to match the curvature of the window, not to mention that you can swipe both horizontally or vertically with ease.

Never been so easy to clean the rear windshield!
I got this specifically because I have a hard time getting in and out of the car to clean the inside glass. This unit lets you attach an extension pole to increase its reach, which I did with a Bates - 3 Ft Telescoping Extension Pole available on Amazon. The results are amazing! Follow the directions. Use a small amount of glass cleaner - don’t saturate the glass. (I used two quick spritzes for each half of the windshield ... that's it.) Then use the tool to clean the glass - first using long vertical strokes and then the same thing horizontally. Takes about 30 seconds for each half of the windshield per side. Using the extension pole, I was able to clean the inside of the front and back windshields of my car while standing outside of the vehicle. The whole process was as painless as I could have ever wished for. This is a great product and I only wish I had found it sooner. Go on and get yours!! You’ll be glad you did.

Works well on sloped windshields
All I wanted is a tool that would make it possible to easily clean the long, sloped inside surface of a late-model car's windshield, able to reach all corners as well as the lower inside edge of the windshield (which may be two feet or more beyond the face of the dashboard). This tool makes doing this possible without performing incredible, difficult, and painful contortions to a 77 year-old body. With this tool, I can sit on each side of the front seat, spray the inside of the windshield with a cleaning solution (such as Windex), spray a bit of cleaning solution on the terry-cloth cover of this tool, and use it to clean and wipe the entire inside of the windshield. Depending on how dirty the inside of the windshield is, it might take two or three times and a few minutes to get it to a first-class condition. The tool is sturdy but also is flexible and long enough to allow easy use over the entire inside of the windshield. The triangular 'head' works well to get into all the corners and edges of the inside of the windshield. I would give this product 5-Stars except the cloth cleaning 'bonnets' that fit on the triangular head seem a bit cheap and small. They work, but are a little difficult to get on. If they shrink, it will be a real problem. A slight bit more fabric would make this a truly first-class product.

Strong & Sturdy with Great Leverage
I like this thing more than I ever thought I would. For one thing it is sturdier than any window cleaner I've used before. The pointed end is great for getting in the corners of your windshield and any oddly shaped windows on your vehicle. Even better you can STAND outside your vehicle if it's an SUV or hatchback and still clean the rear side windows.

that it does not come with an extension handle
Giving it 3 stars because it should come with an extension handle. works very well as it is flexible and you can reach corners as well as the outside part of apartment windows which is what I use it for but needs extension. why would you sell this without an extension handle?

This one really works, use the smooth pad
This one actually works! Tried the green/black as seen on TV version of this, which didn't help at all. We drive into the sun both ways commuting. Keeping the windows clean reduces annoyance and makes a huge difference for safety. The smooth attachment on this gets all the smudges and streaks out, leaving a clean and clear windshield. We don't use windex or water, just the smooth pad. We keep the outsides clean and use aquapel. We haven't used this on the outside windows because we don't want it to get too dirty to clean the inside windshield effectively. The bottom cap does allow for a pole attachment. It's super sturdy and allows you to put pressure on the swiveling head and get even the most stubborn sticky streaks. The shape allows you to get into the corners and into the seam between the windshield and dashboard.

Prodotto consigliato!

I bought this item as I find it difficult to reach all parts of the windscreen and rear window. I am a fairly mobile person as well but really find cleaning windows more difficult than it should be. Thats where this tool comes in, effortless is the word. Cleaning windows is now so simple that you could say it is enjoyable, thats how much of a game changer it is. The tool is larger than I expected and permits me to sit in one front seat and do all of the windscreen, the swivel head works fine. 3 different covers come with the tool, microfibre for cleaning, cotton for polishing and a net variation for removing bugs off the outside. I use this in conjunction with autoglym fast glass and the screen is really cean all over, no dirty bits at the bottom or round the mirror etc. This tool can get everywhere. My Dad borrowed it mainly for his rear window that is difficult to access. This is due to the angle, height of shelf and headrests, he normally removes them and cannot reach the lower glass, now he can reach and doesn't need to remove the headrests. He would buy one but prefers to use mine. I chose this one as some of the cheaper versions had reviews stating they broke quite easily, this one is very robust and if anyone did break it they are applying significant force. I applied the saying 'buy cheap buy twice' when I ordered this. Spare microfibres etc can be bought, mine got dirty very quickly due to areas that were never really cleaned before, the covers can be washed (water only) for the next time.
